@Sick Dreams: Oh yah, I remember that! I was a lurker in the exchange at the time. I saw so many selling threads with the users stating their complaints. In addition to that, so many people were saying they'd leave (especially old reg's of the place). I really enjoyed that place, but suddenly it was all drama... x_x

Wow, that was nice of you! eek I've donated only one semi-expensive item during my years of questing and that was for my friend Sai. She wanted Winged Anklets. :) The rest of the time I've only donated a bit (highest maybe... about 100k?), because my quests are always too gold consuming for me. x-x My largest was for the Angelic Scarf...

It's okay. C: I find it much more satisfying to have friends than gold.

@Sick Dreams: Well, I'm glad you have a good outlook on it then. :) I agree though, friends > gold. I'm more a social person on Gaia than I am IRL, so that's the way I earn gold most. Art is secondary and has become even more so in the last few years.

o___o; WOW. That kinda sucks. I'd never give my items away to a friend even if they asked, thankfully... but I find it hard to say "no" when it comes to art. That's where I feel suckered into things. In the art freebies forum there can be a lot of beggars and it's hard saying "no" when they keep coming back and asking, but you just don't like their avatar. @_@;; Sometimes I do it just to do it, but then I feel really ticked off with myself, because it makes drawing less and less fun. Which overall, for any artist really, is not good. Creates an art block, y'know?
