You'd think that people would take advantage of charities… at least noobs, it's surprising how little traffic they get unless they've been around forever. then again, there are a lot of charities that are just sitting there with the creator not having logged in to post in forever… which is sad. My first lasted a year - with less than 50 total donations. I think that's why I closed it. It wasn't worth my time to just donate to 50 ppl, spending all my time getting items and gold only to not really have anything to do with it besides spend the gold on items I want.

I know what you mean.
Sad thing is that most noobs don't check out the charities often and would rather just beg all over the forums in hopes of getting donations.
My charity is only a few months old right now and is for those who have realistic quests, not those who want those ridiculiously priced items only so they can brag.
So far, we've donated around 7mil to a number of users and still have more to give away.
We don't get very many new users coming in though, mostly regulars.
Tried making a 3mil raffle in hopes of getting more users in but so far it hasn't worked.
