I kind of fell behind the year before last when Christmas came around, but I've been trying to invest in items that might pan out later down the line. So far, that hasn't worked.

I only have about 250k on me, but I'm working on selling items this week to get back to the original total I had at one point, which was 2 mil

I just want to say that I understand where you're coming from wanting a cat on gaia that reminds you of a rl kitty that passed away.

Bogie is my Chocolate. He was one of my babies that I took with me when I finally moved out (I still have his brother with me Wilson). He passed away this time last year because of a urinary tract blockage after we already tried unblocking him. He reblocked as soon as they started getting him ready to go home. Since the bill is 400 a pop we (the boyfriend and I) couldn't really afford another try. It still hurts thinking about him.

Aww, yeah, that's is terrible. It's always hard when it ends up being really expensive to take care of an animal. I mean, some things are understandable, but it's always a bit disheartening when it'll only be something to prolong the suffering, not completely take it away. I'd rather my pets not suffer than to go through a bunch of tests/procedures that would make them uncomfortable or might not do anything.
