Java rules!!!
My first language was BASIC, not VB, or even QBasic, just BASIC. Then came Pascal, Fortran, Perl, VB.Net, Java, C/C++.
I've messed with alot of languages. My favorites would be VB.NET and Java. Though my first was C++. I forgot most of it, im relearning it at the moment.

VBaisic, mainly because the only compiler I could find was a beat up copy of the Broderbund compiler that was floating around the house. However, I quickly moved on to C++. Ah, the days when running at 256 was smoking hot...

Basic. On my little brother's V-tech...computer thingy....with a 4 line display. and line numbers. many years ago...
C, BASIC (on my lovely eight-bit Tandy CoCoIII), QBASIC, VB, C++, Javascript, Java2, PHP, and now Perl.
