As the title says. I'm saving for one, and was wonderin the price of a good one in CA.

if you want one for gaming, i would say $1500-$3000. The dell XPS Gen 2's are suppose to be really good.

Since I'm on a australian keyboard I can't do pound signs but.....

If you are in england, spend upto about 2000 quid.
If you are in Australia, spend upto about $3000
If you are in USA, spend upto about $2000 and hope you get a good computer.

Normally I recommend sony laptop's because they last for 2 years plus, but I find that their Combo Drives fail about about 6 months.
