Have you ever wished or desired something fleetingly? Wished your enemy would just disappear, or your neighbor's boyfriend would be into you instead of her? Wish you'd win the lottery, or get better if you've been battling a long illness? Be it spiteful, malicious, sincere, or endearing, have you ever wondered what happens to those fleeting thoughts or desires?

Recently, a new species has showed up on this world. Empathic by nature, each one is born from a wishful thought recently discarded. Some are more subtle than others. However, the most powerful of these fleeting thoughts can become so strong that they lean towards good or evil in personality. This can make some quite dangerous. Little is known of their goals right now. The scientists of Gambino Isle are baffled. Perhaps more knowledge on these animals will be acquired in the future but for now, would you kindly answer one question for me?

1. No godmoding. Only the special races have special abilities.
2. Respect all shop staff and pet owners alike.
3. Cosplays are only allowed if they are changed to fit the pets. That means no hair, no swords, no clothes on these pets.
4. Edits are bribe only and should be minimal, as in accessories only.
5. Roleplay is NOT required but always appreciated.
6. No childish drama or whining. However, any real complaints, opinions, etc are welcome.
7. That said, patience is a virtue but... If you have a problem please go to Dovaxy and not the individual colorist.
8. Cert information should be PMed to the colorist responsible, not directly to our certist.

Normal: This is the most common race. They are usually a balanced alignment so can be both good and a bit mischievous at times. They have no special abilities directly though some may be granted one later on by a deity.

• Zombies: These special pets can only survive by eating the flesh of living things. They are relentless creatures. While slow and sluggish, they do not feel pain so they never grow tired, never fall over from exhaustion and never hurt. The only way to escape them is to hurt them enough that they must go into the earth to regenerate their abilities. They cannot be killed.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Vampires: These pets get their energy from drinking the blood of other animals, preferably wishes themselves. They can shapeshift into the form of a bat and have the ability to charm their way into and out of most situations. When damaged, they usually have to go into a dark cave, deep woods or even into the ground if necessary to heal.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Werewolves: The wolves seem normal enough when the moon isn't out. They can have normal personalities and become quite playful. However, when the moon comes out (aka every night), the beast within takes over. They no longer have control of their actions. They thirst for the kill, the taste of blood and the thrill of the hunt. They are mortal enemies of the vampires.
  
  
  
  
• Ghosts: The ghosts are sorrowful creatures. They tend to haunt specific locations and sometimes even specific wishes. They are creatures often with unfinished business of some sort. It's not uncommon that they died a gruesome or unfair death and stay attached to the earth to see that others suffer as they had. They hate the zombies most of all. They feel that they are ugly, sluggish creatures that should not belong in the ranks of the undead.
  
  

Evil: Some wishful thoughts cater to the dark side. Those that are particularly evil form become twisted inside. They grow horns and most have the ability to control fire which is often used to destroy. Others yet may gain an ability that is unique to only them or a few select others. It's safe to say that these creatures are not friendly or trustworthy. Other perks to this race is that they can fight with their deadly claws and fangs and run at very fast speeds.

Good: These creatures emerge out of the kindest of thoughts. They usually gain a protective or defensive ability such as Shield, where they can protect themselves and one other in a barrier, saving them from the onslaught of an evil pet. Every good pet is also given the ability to heal though this can tire them in large doses. On top of that, they can climb and jump extraordinarily well.

Halfblood Evil Dominant: These hybrids are great tricksters. They are considered free spirits or rogues usually doing as they please. They have the ability of creating illusions, usually meant to scare or trick others into doing what they want. They can control fire though in smaller doses than their full blooded counterpart. They are also not as good as the physical aspect of fighting but they are more graceful on their feet and being smaller, are able to dodge attacks better. They are often less trustworthy than the evil race as they will even stab their full blooded cousins in the back to achieve their goals.

Halfbloods Good Dominant: The hybrids catering towards the good side are special indeed. They are often the healers and clerics of the group as their healing actually intensified than lessened. They can heal large numbers of groups and even cure diseases and other illnesses. They are a little bit flighty, however, and have to be reminded of their duties as they will sneak away and play in the flower fields or with their animal friends. When they do concentrate on their duties, they exceed any and all expectations.

Mixblood: These hybrids are extremely powerful. They are a mix between a good and evil race. Thankfully, they are usually too lazy to do anything about it. When crossed however, watch out. They have ALL the abilities of a good pet and ALL the abilities of an evil pet. Often, the good and evil pets will work together to keep them a wild mixblood in line. When that fails, a god might need to kick some a**... >.>

Pandas: These wishes are the largest of them all. Their brute strength is unmatched with any of the other animals. They can throw you in the air and pommel you with a fierceness that you cannot imagine unless you're on the wrong end of their fist. They are lazy creatures so luckily they don't go around picking fights.. but if you hurt someone they care for or bother them.. watch out. Not only are they strong but their thick fur keeps most attacks off them. They can take more damage than most before surrendering. They are the ultimate fighting machines.

Red Pandas: A little con goes a long way. Red Pandas are con artists, swindlers, bamboozlers. They have a silver and quick tongue that can get just about anything they want. They are not to be mistaken for the tricksters such as the Kitsunes who use real trickery. The Red Pandas are sharp witted, they use their quick thinking and perception to analyze a situation and turn just about any situation in their favor. They are much smaller than their Panda cousins but are also much faster. They tend to avoid physical conflict unless they have no choice.

Rams: They are more like a conscience, one that can move, talk and do as they want. They like to give advice and tell other creatures what they should do. So you can imagine that a good ram will tell you to take the good, moral path in life or in a single situation whereas the bad ram will tell you to take the more sinful course of action. They can make good friends and they mean well, even the evil one isn't particularly evil. He could tell you to pour honey on your mother's head because he thinks it would be funny.. not realizing (or caring) that you could get in trouble. Some though.. some are particularly evil and those are the ones you should watch out for. Try not to make them angry or they will headbutt you into next week.

Baby: The baby stage can last up to two weeks. They sleep a lot but when they are awake, they are very playful, curious and attentive. Any abilities of theirs that is present is usually accidental, such as a protective barrier showing up on a good pet after a sneeze.

Kit: They are more active at this stage and learning to play or mess around with any abilities they may have. They are very curious creatures and want to learn about the world around them. Their personalities start to show up at this stage and the darker pets start to show signs of their evil nature.

Adult: Fully grown, they have full use of any abilities they might have acquired and their personalities are set in stone. They usually spend their remaining life achieving any personal goals they might have, such as starting a family or ruling a small territory with a few pet followers to do their every bidding.

Familiars will cost 5k each due to the unique abilities they give the pet. There's no limit to the amount of familiars each pet can own.

Squirrel: Wishful Thoughts that team up with a squirrel can gain the ability to climb almost any surface. Not only that, but they can jump from one object to the next with the grace and skill of a squirrel as well. For example, they can climb a tree and then jump from one tree to the next and to the next to escape an enemy. The squirrel also allows the Wishful Thought to communicate with all other animals instead of just their familiars.

Butterfly: Wishful Thoughts that team up with a butterfly gain a feather fall ability when they jump from high places. They 'glide' or float down to the ground below. They can also levitate three times throughout a single day.

Bird: Wishful Thoughts that team up with a bird become more intelligent. They gain the ability of Birds Eye View allowing them to see from the eyes of their familiar, so they can have their pet soar through the sky and look at the ground below, allowing them to scout for food, water, or potential danger.

Snail: Wishful Thoughts that team up with a snail can decrease their size at will. They can become as small as a mouse or even a snail itself. This can allow them to hide from any danger. Another ability that comes from the snail is the slowing of time, albeit briefly. The Wishful Thought can make time slow down around them for ten seconds, allowing them to move from harm's way. Those around them would simply see the pet as blinking from one place to the next, having not noticed a difference on their end.

Snake: Wishful Thoughts that team up with a snake gain a charm ability. If they lock eyes with another creature, they can bend their will towards their own and control them for a few minutes. This only works for smaller things, such as getting them to back away from a fight long enough for the pet to escape, or to have them hand over the meal they just caught for themselves. Snake owners can also command/control other reptiles at their leisure.

Breedings cost 8k total, which should be split up between both pet owners. These creatures can have anywhere from one to eight kits. It's really random and based on whatever the colorist feels like at the moment but the price will remain the same regardless of the amount you have. You are not allowed to keep more than one baby for yourself though so any extras you must give away. Breeding bribes are the only exception, for breeding bribes only the owners may each keep two offspring.


Rules
1. Only adults can breed. Attempting to breed a younger stage is gross may result in a ban.
2. All pets must be an adult for at least two weeks before they can breed.
3. Pets cannot breed again unless their previous batch of babies have grown to adults or it has been at least two months since their last breeding.
4. For now wishes don't have breeding limits, so you can breed them as many times as you'd like.
5. Your wishes may not have limits but you do, you may only win two normal breedings a month, and one bribe breeding.
6. Please make sure owners are still around gaia when you post pairs, this has been a problem as of late.
7. Some species have breeding restrictions on them, mainly dogs, wolves, zombies, ghosts, vampires and werewolves. Make sure you understand these restrictions before attempting to pair these pets.


Note: In the event of co-ownership, it does not change the amount of babies received. The breeding kits are split up 50/50 to the pet parents. So Pet A gets half the babies, Pet B gets half the babies. Co-owners have to split up their half of the babies. So if there's 12 babies, Pet A gets 6, Pet B get's 6 and then the two co-owners for pet B must split up their six, giving them 3 each. Also, paying for the breeding or bribe breeding does not entitle you to more babies than the owner of the other parent. You are only entitled to an extra baby if there's an ODD amount.
