I was watching a comedian one time and he had that problem. His father was English and his mother was Cuban. His maternal Grandmother was black, too. So no one in his family looked like they were related. One time, in his childhood, they moved to a snooty all white neighborhood and halfway through the school year they pulled him aside and told him they found out he wasn't actually white, which was a shock since he looked white. He then made a joke that he was a latino with some caucasian glazing. Then later on he told a story about how he tried to speak Spanish to a Cuban woman and (with a very heavy accent) she went on to berate him for assuming she knew Spanish.

He was funny.

My school district requires everyone to learn a language while in highschool so next year I'm going to learn spanish
I'll fail epicly but I'll get some practice because everyone on my bus likes to speak in spanglish so I can translate while pretending to not care :>
