Unfortunate Announcement

As you probably guessed with me not showing up today for my usual chipper back-and-forth, I haven't been feeling well. Depending on how I feel over the next few days, I may have to temporarily shelve this, much as I really, really like you all, and would hate to do so. The premade contest will continue to run and I will pick a winner on the 20th, however things won't really get started until I can get this all under control. I launched the shop at this time thinking I finally had everything under control, and that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'd love to run a shop, but I'm thinking it's going to have to be simpler than this while I get better. I'm still not over everything. I'm thinking of bringing Mob (the ol' meerkat shop o' mine) back in a seriously altered form so I have something to play around with (I would simplify the lines and everything so that it was as un-stressful as possible.)

I'm really sorry. I started off with a bang and then fizzled very quickly - this has gone over a lot worse than I anticipated. I'm so sorry to those of you who have put so much work into quest threads and will have to wait on those characters for now. I know how frustrating it is to get into something and then have this happen. sad

Thanks for all the well-wishes, guys. Not gonna get into too many details, but I'm pretty sure I need to see a specialist at this point. What worries me is the possibility that I might not be able to go home to Oakland as soon as I planned. I feel so out of my element.

In the meantime, I've been trying to make line-art (using Sai, which I just discovered) for a simpler template B/C I can really get into. I think I've settled on dinos. So uh, look out for that soon.

I love all y'all - and I will make this work somehow. Even if I have to change airships to mechs and the unique art to bases again or change the tone slightly - whatever else. (THE SOUL WILL STAY ALIVE, YES.)

Remember those things in grade school where there were face shapes, body shapes/types, clothes, etc, and you'd trace over all the pieces you wanted until you had something complete? Maybe a CYO of something like that would be cool. *u*... Totally thinking out loud, but someone should definitely make that!
