ishop couldn't hear the marble. and he hadn't the time to react at what he saw, not on the drop of a dime. Though his general reaction was but to keep on going. In this case it worked to his advantage. As he bulldozed forth towards the middle of the arena, and his opponent, his legs flexed into flat footed stopping steps in his charge. His steel cleat boots putting the marbles to quick work. One or two whole marbles along with some caked powdery and chunk shards of glass built up as he crunched them too pieces. This factor produced some difficulty though in smooth glass on smooth glass.

As if that wasn't enough, the walls released more blades As he raised his left arm, a blade cut into his arm, and even almost penetrated the femur of his forearm. His smile turned intro a pained face as he grit his teeth grunting audibly as he fought through the pain, still abusing the peak of the Compound V. The other blades that cut his chest stomach small of his back, left thing and right calf, combined with the glass on glass caused him to stumble a bit as he shot the Sonic Pulse Pistol.

Sonic Pulse Pistol
This pistol is capable of firing off extremely high-power sound waves can disrupt and/or destroy the eardrums of a target and cause severe pain or disorientation. Less powerful sound waves can cause humans to experience nausea or discomfort. The possibility of a device that produces frequency that causes vibration of the eyeballs, and therefore distortion of vision. This pistol is must recharge between shots. When fired, the pulse is roughly the size of a baseball and as it travels up to three meters away it becomes the size of a basketball before dispersing. The speed of these sonic pulses equate to 40mph.
[Note: This weapon's effects last for a total of two posts, The first post being direct effects and the second post being residual or lingering effects. The recharge time of said weapon is four posts. ]

Regaining his footing as he halted just in reach of the staff's length should the monk attack. His left hand moved to this back to to holster the pistol akin to a reverse quick draw, only to stop by his left hip on the way up to reach for one of his Spetznas Ballistic Knives. If the monk was hit by the pulse, Bishop wouldn't hesitate to press the small button on the knife handle in order to release a small capsule of compressed air that would launch the blade now pointed at the monk. If he somehow dodged the incredibly fast and invisible to the naked eye sonic pulse, he would instead shoot the knife blade where the monk moved himself to.

All he could do at this point was drop the used handle of the previously whole knife he had a moment ago, withdrawing his left hand to better be used of helping to defend himself, along with his right hand ready with that custom morning star. Now...s**t was getting real. The only other trump card he held onto was his ready to use super breath again. If he could use his tools in the proper manner, he would end this fight sooner rather than later. But what else did his opponent have in his arsenal?

Well, that had been an interesting turn of events!

All the same, his ploy had been successful; And the younger fighters use of the pistol would now give something back to Dithakar that he never could have expected.

His left hand shot forth, palm out, as the not-so-invisible sphere of sonic waves zoned in. Because Dithakar held in his opposite grip that blessed staff of [Harmony], and thus basked in the fruit of it. The bleeding on his arm had mostly ceased, but the slowly drying crimson remained upon the leather.

Harmony :: While meditating, some monks prefer the solitude afforded by silence. Harmony allows the user to create a bubble of shimmering distortion, causing an area of total silence. In order to engage this power, Dithakar must begin by humming. As the effect causes silence, all sound is pushed outside of it’s area. This causes those outside to hear his humming, even if he cannot. Though he can push the area out far enough to allow himself and an enemy to fight (given enough time to prepare) he prefers to allow his opponent to “break” the harmony…sending a multi-colored shower of distorting shards raining down on top of them. Though not especially useful as a method of offense, it does work well as a distraction. Though Harmony can be used during a battle, Dithakar can not enact it during a direct confrontation. He must stand in one place, and hum in order to initiate the harmony bubble and maintain it. So long as he is standing and humming in this fashion, enemies may move into, or even attack through, the bubble without breaking it. Should Dithakar no longer actively maintain the bubble, then it will stop expanding and become brittle...shattering if the surface of either the interior or exterior is interacted with. Consider that the Harmony effect is able to increase its radius by 5ft for each turn it is maintained, and end at a maximum radius of 30ft. However, the Harmony effect does grant Dithakar…and any others who choose to participate…with special meditative bonuses. Though all sound is completely dampened, visual stimuli are nearly tripled. This allows any participant to see invisible objects or creatures, ignore any penalty granted by concealing effects (such as dust, fog, smoke, etc.), and see the spiritual auras of all living things so long as they are within the radius of the effect and not standing behind any solid material with a thickness greater than a foot thick. Participation within the harmony effect requires only that they participant be willing, aware, and capable of humming with Dithakar. Should Harmony be initiated within the effect of any cloud, smoke fog, or other similar substance then those effects are pushed back by the bubble as well.

But that was only the start of things to come as he drew upon the powers within his lacerated gauntlet, and the undamaged jewels it bore. Hungrily calling out to the energy-based projectile that so graciously rushed in to meet its sweet embrace.

Brilliant light flashed within the crystalline adornments that perched at the back of his hands, flickering to life as they consumed the shot from Bishop's pistol. Devouring it, and its effects, in one fell swoop.

Storm-Catchers :: Catch & Return

Catch & Return :: A pair of tight-fitting, Leather gauntlets that he wears on both arms. Each have a set of glimmering blue sapphires set into them. Capable of absorbing non-material energy based projectiles of any form, or 'any projectile that is more than physical, and capable of being absorbed as some type of energy' and then immediately deflecting or reflecting it, these gloves are Dithakar’s ultimate defense against spell casters. These devices block, consume, and then alter the course of directed projectile attacks by converting them into a useable form. This requires that at least one of his hands be free, and that the gloves not be on cool down. A d100 must then be rolled, with a result higher than 30 indicating a successful catch. He may then opt to send the attack right back at the caster, deflect the energy away from himself, or envelop his body in the energy so that he can strike his opponent directly. Either way, he can only use each absorbed item once and must catch another spell in order to effect a return. These gauntlets have no effect on “spells” once they activate in an area, but can absorb them if they are fired as a projectile first. The gloves are capable of reflecting only weak to mid-range projectile abilities, and require a one post cool down after each successful return. These are not considered ‘armor’ as they provide no defensive benefit, and gauntlet is merely a descriptive term. The various types of energy that may be projected from these gloves will be listed below, and each costs one spell to use.

There was no doubt in the Monk's mind that his opponent had only begun to attack, so as Bishop moved to holster the gun Dithakar would retract his left hand. Ready as the first ballistic knife was brought to bear, and released in his direction.

He quickly swatted it away, using another of his skills as his recently retracted arm blasted forth to pluck the blade from the air and redirect it harmlessly wide.

Deflect Projectiles :: Dithakar can deflect incoming arrows, as well as crossbow bolts, and other projectile or thrown weapons regardless of whether or not they are magical in nature. In order to do this, he must have at least one hand free and the object in question must be capable of receiving physical interaction. Once per round when he would normally be hit with a ranged weapon, he can deflect it so that he takes no damage. He must be aware of the attack, and capable of motion. Deflecting a ranged weapon doesn’t count as an action. If, for example, Dithakar deflects an arrow that is on fire with his bare hands he will still be burned unless otherwise stated per each individual example.

However, there was still the matter of his captured sonic pulse.

Well, what HAD been a sonic pulse.

Because the Storm Catchers could alter the nature of anything absorbed before utilizing it, and that was precisely what he did now.

Force - Projected as a wave of raw force (radial burst of 350 lbs of pressure that reaches out to ten ft, and attempts to push any unsecured object to the edge of it's effect, or applied to self for protection from kinetic based attacks and lightweight projectiles(in the form of deflection on a roll of 30 with the d100) (1 round/spell consumed).

There was only one threat he had not accounted for, and that being the breath attack Bishop had used earlier. Had it not been for his chain, Dithakar would've been at the younger warrior's mercy in that previous encounter.

Now, he had his own protection.

The power he'd absorbed poured out and onto his person invisibly as he quick stepped four short feet and into range with the Lotus-Ryuu. His next attack would be a jab as he brought the staff to bear against his enemy, left hand joining the right before stabbing out for Bishop's throat.

To simply say that this was taking it to the next level of fighting would almost be an understatement. Never had Bishop felt so overwhelmed by a fighter. His strategies and tactics blend together in the most perfect of ways. Compared to Bishop's reckless and formless tact. The last fight he had that was this difficult was the one against the infamous Dzan Streea. This was however, completely different as a whole. That man just ate his sonic pulse and showed no adverse reaction. That was one thing he didn't count on, and was the first....and hopefully last...Person that had managed to endure his newest weapon he had.

Then there was his knife attack. This complimented the monk's ability and tact even more. Deflecting the blade after absorbing the sonic pulse. This was some extreme s**t. What else could come of this? Though his doubt in himself had grown a bit more, he wouldn't choke. The monk was on the move once more with his forward motion, and he could only perform two types of attack. A swiping attack, or a thrusting one. This moment would display Bishop not hesitating, not giving up.

Bobbing to his right, his left hand followed swiftly, snapping out as he moved forward to grasp the staff about two feet past the end that had just stabbed at his throat. Clenching as tight as he could, his knees bent slightly just before he pushed off of them, swinging his lower body beneath him forward before they attempted to stomp each foot into the nearest sides of the monks body, the balls of his feet aiming to slam into his hips as he yanked on the staff. He was betting the monk wouldn't let go, but even if he did, it couldn't all be a bad thing.

If he made it this far and his feet landed, Bishop would swing his mace around over head aiming to smash his maced into the left shoulder of the monk. He didn't know of the monks protection from the converted energy he donated. And so he wouldn't attack the head of the monk as at this point, he respected him enough. So much, he preferred not to attempt at taking the mans life. For win or lose, he hoped to fight this man again in the future.

Bishop's attack was a sudden, wide-spread, explosion of movement.

However, as the younger warrior moved to grab onto, and secure, Dithakar's staff; He would find that the weapon was no longer solid. The light faded away much more quickly then when it had formed, leaving the elderly monk's hands empty...

Right hand presented out before the left as both balled into meaty fists, and withdrew into a more solid position; Setting his feet hard against the ground beneath him as the first impact honed in for either hip.

There was nothing he could do about the incoming two-kick combo, but his what his own hardened body could not absorb...The layer of force that encased him certainly would.

That didn't stop the bite of those metal cleats from tearing the cloth of his breeches, and breaking the flesh that lay beneath. To the Russian, it would feel as though he'd collided with a wall of tempered steel; And he'd know, immediately, that there was no way he would be able to knock his enemy down like that.

The second strike, as Bishop returned to the platform's surface, would come as an over-and-around from the younger warrior's right handed mace. An attack that he aimed for Dithakar's left shoulder, and backed with his own prodigious strength.

So, the aged mendicant took a page from his opponent's book.

His left hand shot out like a snake, fingers wrapping round the haft of Bishop's mace, just below the spiked head, with a grip as strong as iron. Meanwhile, his right leg kicked out in a straight jab; Powering that booted foot directly towards the unprotected abdomen of his younger opponent.

Right arm blasting over with the same motion to try and strike the crook of Bishop's right elbow. A move that would, potentially, deaden the arm; And allow the older fighter to disarm him of his weapon.

As Bishop went for the attack with his mace, he was halted. At the instance he was halted, his thumb depressed that button on the handle of the mace, releasing a spring loaded mechanism that would launch the mace head forth, adding a foot of length via chain to the 36" weapon. The swift happening of the custom morning star would be at the same time as that kick. While he recieved a kick to the abdomen, flexing his muscles as it was too late to avoid, The mace head shredded for through the air, aiming to impact Dithikar's left pectorl/shoulder.

The monk's punch for Bishop's right elbow would be thwarted by Bishop's left hand, which struck out to smash a palm into Dithikar's right shoulder, clenching a fistful of the monk's top. This wasn't intended to block the unforeseen attack, but it happened to dampen the attack dramatically. His narrowed hazel eyes would be unseen as this happened. Their vision as been directed to the monk's chest as he kicked off of his feet, ramming forward and up to slam his head into the monk's face. This nasty headbutt would pack quite the punch, and if he hit his mark, he hoped to regain some freedom and composure. Otherwise these two fighters were about to get real nasty before one of them was out like a light.

Dithakar's kick had been more than just another attack.

Because, to the elderly monk, he and Bishop were not so very different; And the young fighter's body, by what ever means, had proven just as sturdy as his own. Every muscle had been given its fair share of attention, and each reaction was more than desperation.

Every aspect, calculated!

So, Dithakar had focused each attack he had on his opponent's abdomen; Again, and again, he had hammered Bishop's body with spiritual force. Slowly tearing down the wall that reminded him so very much of the man he had once been. Full of arrogance, and pride...Lost.

Horribly, pitifully, lost.

The battle raged on, and the monk's straight-out attack struck home. Backed by not only his own prodigious strength, but also the power afforded him through faith. It stopped the younger man dead in his tracks, and kept Dithakar just outside the smaller man's reach.

That would not, however, stop the blow to his shoulder; A surprise move from the not-so-average mace, and effective enough to loosen that left handed grip upon its haft and inflict further pain upon the monk. Still, Dithakar's right hand drove in, unable to reach its original target; But willing to settle for another grapple, this time wrapping thick fingers around Bishop's right forearm...Again, just above the lip of his cestus.

Immediately, he brought his right leg down hard; Almost as if he aimed to drive his foot right through the stage, and recoiled mightily with every muscle from his torso all the way down the length of his occupied limb. Trying to not only drag Bishop down, and to his own left side, but also to help the young warrior avoid what he could not see.

"Get down!"

The first words spoken by the elder, roared above the constant whine and screech of metal. His accent, even as he yelled, was unusual...Uncommon.

The blades had come out again, whistling their awful gale as they honed in for the Russian fighter's unprotected back. It was an affront to everything Dithakar believed, and so he fought the young man with everything he had to get him down and away before those razors struck.

Welcoming there bite upon his old, and weathered flesh.

Should Bishop be forced out of the way, the blades would slice two vertical lines into the cloth of the monk's tunic...Carving the skin beneath.

But the blood already coated him as would another shade of cloth, running from many an open blade-wound. Even though their battle had been brutal, and despite the very nature of combat, the Holy Man would rather suffer a thousand pains than see this promising fighter lashed upon from behind.

That was not his way.

The kick had been harder than expected. It wasn't every day he had to fight Chi Master Fong. Be for he could do anything else, his arm was grasped and he was plucked from the ground where he previously stood. His body swayed with the momentum in ease as he was still fighting the pain in his gut. His ascension didn't last long though. As everyone knew, what goes up, must come down.

THUDOOM!!!

B
ishop impacted the ground hard, this time being winded from the attack endured. Something he hadn't experienced in so long. As if that wasn't enough, he right hand relinquished control of that mace. The impact force was grand enough for it. Though he didn't feel it this time around, his legs caught a few of those razor sharp blade in his motion. His eyes where shut tight, though he had nop clue how long they had been. Prying themselves open, his eyes caught sight of the monk, and Bishop's left hand shot forth to grasp the monk's closest leg. Squeezing as hard as he could with a vice grip, he was aiming to at least fracture that ankle to slow the monk down. This fight was rapidly proceeding towards it's end...Though Bishop never just quit.

The elderly monk took the double-edged strike to his chest with an audible hiss, both lines of steel lashing out to draw even more of his blood to the surface.

But something else began to pour out as well.

At first, it would look almost like steam; Rising up from the martial artist's skin as though his body temperature had risen. The strange phenomenon would intensify as the younger fighter slammed down to the floor, and went still.

Dithakar's lips had remained curled back, caught in the throws of silent agony.

Bishop came around, and caught hold of the elderly warrior's right leg with his free left hand. And he would find the flesh there to be less solid, But the foot was ground down in pure resolution. Somewhere, far....far..away the holy man sensed a pressure in his ankle; Though it would not register through the look of raw rage that had become his visage.

Bishop had made a terrible mistake...

And Dithakar was no longer there to forgive him.

Rage :: Should Dithakar become angry because someone he cares for is hurt or in danger, or if he is severely injured, he will enter a state of heightened Martial Artist Fury. Epitomized in many of Asia’s greatest Kung-Fu classics, this is the point that the hero typically must reach in order to defeat his greatest foe. In no other style is this as real as it is in Muay Thai. Realizing the advantage in simply “letting go”, masters of the “Eight Deadly-points” taught their students to embrace righteous anger and use it as a focus for their body. Because of this, Muay Thai monks have access to incredible speed and strength when mad and can block much more skillfully because of this. Their attacks come much more quickly, and with greater accuracy on weak points. However, because of their focused state, they will completely ignore anyone they do not consider an offender. Likewise, they will ignore all damage…possibly dying from fatal wounds when the fight is finished. As far as this ability is concerned, it is best to assume that all of his Natural abilities will increase by a variable 25% effectiveness, unless otherwise stated. However, due to the loss of focus, his supernatural abilities may not be used during Rage. The Enraged status is not something Dithakar can do on a whim, and it is activated by necessity only. Examples of times in which Dithakar may become enraged include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: Injury to a friend/relative/loved one, loss of limb, watching someone die needlessly, witnessing a murder, coming face to face with a former enemy whom he previously failed to defeat, witnessing someone defacing a statue or symbol to his God (Buddha), receiving a mortal or near-mortal wound, etc. As he is a Master in his art, it is conceivable that it would be almost impossible to unsettle Dithakar to the point of Rage. As such, this condition may be contested for reasonable doubt at any time by a judge or other official, upon request. Also, the Rage only lasts for 8 consecutive posts and can not be ended before that time unless Dithakar is killed or knocked unconscious. Should the Rage conclude before the battle is ended, then the monk will have all physical qualities halved for the remainder of the fight…or for an additional five posts…which ever happens first. He will also be unable to use any supernatural abilities during this time.

The monk's arms recoiled and windmilled from right to left as he spun on the ball of his right foot, twisting at the waist and turning round so that his left foot crossed over Bishop's left arm to catch its heel against the inside of the young fighter's cestus. If he bothered to look up, and into Dithakar's eyes, he would likely see something unusual through the smokey effect that wreathed his chiseled form.

Hatred.

And then, like a taut rubber band, the enraged monk would snap back the way he had just come; The powerful left leg violently ripping against his opponent's out held arm, and threatening to completely destroy Bishop's elbow and everything below it.

Unarmed (The Eight Deadly-points) :: While Enraged, Dithakar gains the ability “Bonebreaker“. This technique builds upon the founding principles of Muay Thai, and allows some successful hits to result in debilitating damage. In order for the ability to work, Dithakar must declare an attack on some part of an opponent‘s anatomy, and that attack must succeed with 100% efficacy. (At the opponent's discretion.). At which point, the attack has the potential to break, or in the case of someone’s skull, fracture whatever bone it connects with. This rage enhanced ability is very taxing, and may be used only twice during any given rage/battle. Attacks to the head would simply fracture the skull, if they were successful...resulting in whatever effect the target deems appropriate.

Whether the attack was successful, or not, it would not matter; Because Dithakar's fury had been unleashed, and the Yoshiryuu had come out.

Bishop had never seen Muay Thai up close and personal. However, he did favor a newer and not so popular star featured in America through Blockbuster in the foreign movie section. Tony Jaa. Difference between his style and Dithikar's, Tony Jaa used a back land style of the art. Though both were effective for the same types of attacks. And this one was doing to hurt incredibly bad. Like the scene close to the end of Ong Bak or the newer and very similar film, The Protector.

"AGHH! RAGHHH! AH-AHH! HNG!"

H
e yelled profusely in pain before gritting his teeth and inhaling swift and deep through his nose. As his face turned up to see the monk, his eyes narrowed in pain, though more importantly anger. Much like Dithikar's rage, Bishop became enraged. But, in Bishop's case it was due to his genetic disorder. Intermittent Explosive Disorder. It was much like bi-polar, but was only sated by violence. And though Bishop had learned to better control his anger, there was no way he could not be pissed about his arm snapping completely opposite the way the joint hinges. One of his broken forearm bones even pocked through his forearm. Not by a lot, but visible.

Exhaling in front of and under Dithikar, he aimed to toss him up and away from him. Hopefully into the gravitational pull of the spiraling sphere the fought in. If Dithikar failed to release him, this could all be really ugly, though if Bishop succeeded in blowing him away, Bishop would try to regroup as best he could. First by retrieving his mace. If he failed and Dithkar remained holding him, Bishop pull down on his right arm as he would roll back to end up placing his back against the monk's leg just before bringing his size 12 spike cleat boot for the monk's balls. Even his stone hard body had a soft spot. That is, if he was indeed the man he seemed to be. This was Bishop last stand, and if he couldn't manage with one arm, he was already done. The more it hurt, the more angry he felt. The two emotions mixing into a pool in his brain, fueling him to go on even when most men would rolled around crying on the floor. He continuing to grit his teeth and grunt heavily though it wouldn't be heard in the environment.

The powerful, frigid, blast of air would do just as Bishop had intended; Sending the monk up, and out. It knocked him away, and the powerful gravity took care of the rest.

Not, however, without further pain to the already severely broken arm; As Dithakar's legs, still partially entwined with Bishop's appendage, were ripped away by the blast.

An explosion that planted the furious warrior directly into the thicket of razors coating every inch of wall. It was likely that the Russian would lose sight of him, then, as the whirring...spinning...structure quickly displaced the monk.

But his yell, a violent war cry, broke free from the ever constant noise of the chamber. The younger fighter would hear it before he bore witness to what would come next.

"R-R-R-AYA-H-H-H-H-H!!"

Dithakar rocketed back into the fray, having planted both feet against the hardened exterior surface before kicking off. For the briefest of moments, the holy warrior seemed like a comet; Trailing a mixture of smoke, and...ice?

The untamed power of his return to the battlefield ended in a controlled slide as he caught both boots beneath him, and came to a temporary halt roughly fifteen feet to Bishop's left hand side. But, he had not come back alone...

Improved Evasion :: While Enraged, Improved Evasion is replaced by a similar ability known as Improved Immersion. By willingly taking the brunt of unusual attacks head-on, Dithakar can pass through the effect receiving only half of the intended damage, and imbuing his Eight-Deadly Points with energy from it. For example, a fireball explosion would find him burned as he passes through it, but his arms and legs would be wreathed in flames that he can then use to damage his opponents. Any effect gained from this Rage ability, with the exception of damage, ends after two posts.

Dithakar, with the majority of his clothing in tatters...coated from head to toe in a layer of crimson, and wispy gray...bore a crisscrossing layer of razor blades on both his arms, and feet; A layer of swirling wind, and the chill effect it bore, roiling above that.

To the younger man, who wore 'Acheron' so proudly upon his back, this monk would appear as a God; a mixture of blood, and supernatural mist, drawn round and round him in ever changing layers.

Blades, literally, embedded in his reddened flesh.

Eyes full to bursting with soul-crushing hatred.

Another roar, as Dithakar's hands turned to grasping claws and his feet blurred beneath him. Ready to set upon Bishop with all his pain, all his fury!

Speed of the Old Wind :: While Enraged, this ability allows him to push past even this impressive level and run much faster than normal, albeit at the expense of his attack for that round. He may move up to 90ft in a (5 second) post, but must forgo any other actions.

"R-A-A-A-A-HRH!!"

His opponent had no doubt gone for his weapon while he'd been away, but he closed the distance between them in the blink of an eye. Feeling no pain, deadened to any sense of remorse, and ready to destroy.

Primed to strike.

As the monk was blasted away by the burst of air, Bishop yelled in pain as his broken arm was yanked. Though once free he would push past the pain and continue to grit his teeth, grunting profusely as he ran a few steps and snatched up his mace in his right hand. Facing the monk, he seemed to be carrying some extra features this time around. Obviously he had donated to the s**t fest headed his way at this very moment. Clenching the mace as blood now dripped onto the handle, running down it's length to the head where it dripped on the arena flooring. Though it was nothing to the blood dripping in various spots from his left arm. As his opponent was seen landing Bishop, was merely turning to face him.

Uncontrolled and not predicted by Bishop, the monk advanced into a blur to shut the distance incredibly fast. In the one and half or so seconds allowed by the monk's immense speed, Bishop merely swung his mace in a horizontal fashion, bringing the mace to neck/head level of the monk. Half way through this swing, he would smash the button on the handle, releasing the spring loaded system once again to add a one foot length of chain to the 36" weapon. The now 48" mace swung threatening to smash the monk in the left side of his neck/head, or, if he barely missed, the chain would hit as the monk came in and wrap around to smash him roughly the back of his head.

If he succeeded and the monk failed to take him out in his flawless charge, Bishop would be left in a tie with him it might be if he couldn't continue fighting. Otherwise he was in for a world of hurt as he stood stationary. His anger still much enraging him. The full crushing force of Bishop's strength would be applied in this attack. It was do or die. Go big, or go home...

The attack was highly telegraphed, but who could blame the Young man?

After-all, broken bones were extremely painful; And every little motion was enough to shed fresh torrents of agony. Had DIthakar been in his right mind, it is likely that he would've been impressed.

But the warrior monk was far from that reasonable place right now.

As Bishop drew back to swing, the elderly martial artist reared back, and dropped down upon the floor; Transitioning smoothly into a slide. It put him well below the four-foot reach of that mace, and his incredible momentum kept him coming in hard. Eyes witnessed the chain once more as it swished over above him...

Face still a mask of contorted fury.

Dithakar, who now rolled partially onto his left side, to rest upon his withdrawn arm, trailed a varied mixture in his wake: Blood, ice, and vicious sparks of metal. He raised his right leg, and curled the left in, just before they were to connect. But, instead of trying to kick the smaller man, his right leg suddenly moved to coil back upon its self.

Trying to wrap Bishop's left knee inside the crook of his own, blade-wrapped calf and thigh.

If that was successful, he would push out hard with his left arm and force himself back up as the lower appendage on that same side also unfurled. A move that not only put Dithakar back on his feet, and in his opponent's face, but would also twist Bishop's leg into a bone-snapping angle as the monk's right foot returned to the ground on the outside.

All he had to do then, was bring both solid fists and forearms to bear upon the Russian's chest as he rose; Striking with the outer 'head' of his hands as though the younger fighter were a drum and his arms the razor-limned sticks.

If everything went according to plan, the monk would knock his foe back to the ground...breaking the left knee in the process. All accompanied by the stinging chill of cold cycling winds, and embedded blades.

Brutality.

CRACK!THOOM!!!

A
ll was well that ended well. In Bishop's case...This was not embarrassing, though a defeat none the less. This fight made him hope and pray that he saw this monk again in the Heaven or Hell tournament rapidly approaching. It was a fifty fifty chance. Maybe he would be in it, maybe not. Hell, he never even gotten the monk's name. After his mace missed, his left leg was trapped. His immediate reaction was to drop it and swing a hammer fist for the monk's dome. But to no avail. The monk moved accordingly and pulled on that leg as his fists banged into Bishop's chest, throwing him to the ground as he snapped his left leg at the knee. The hit to the chest before smashing his back first into the ground in immense pain cause him winding. His lack of oxygen and bouncing his head from the ground violently, along with the shock of the attacks had finally made Bishop imitate a scream as nothing came out...Just before he was out cold.

In all, he lay there beaten and bloodied to hell. His naked torso and upper arms were streaking with blood, scattered razor sharp edges ejecting from his skin. His wraps and cestus' too were covered in blood. The white of his camo pants was almost completely red at this point. And to top it all off, his left arm and now left leg were broken. This was no doubt, the worse a** whoppin' he had ever received on Gaia Primus. Though like the ones that came before it, Bishop would definitely learn from this fight. Grow. Becoming much more than a monster than he already was. Despite winning, the monk wouldn't forget whom he fought. Hell, it must have been a little embarrassing to be nearly 500 years old, a master of ki and muay thai, incredibly experienced.....and he had such a hard time fighting a mere metahuman in his early twenties. One with no orthodox fighting style, no rubric to his fighting, and just all out reckless. Bishop gave him a run for his money. And if and when they faced each other again, Bishop would come out on top. He'd make damn sure.

As Bishop was driven down, and planted firmly into the floor, a change took place in the Arena around them.

Gears ground to a halt, and the ever rotating exterior gradually slowed to a stop. The silence was pervasive, absolute; But did nothing to abate the awful wrath that still churned it Dithakar's eyes.

He wanted to crush him.

The monk stood over the young warrior, his whole body deadened to the criss-cross of open wounds. Massive fists presented out in front as he leered at the broken man, and leaned in to finish him.

But not before his immersion wore away, and the wind effect encasing him dispersed outward...Tearing the blades that remained with him away. Bringing his rage to the origin, and directing his fury off of the Russian at his feet.

Dithakar stepped back from Bishop, and craned his neck as he took in the whole of this place. Gaze washing the structure in fire, and muscles clenching with destructive intent.

All at once, the mighty warrior slammed down to both knees and dented the floor; Hands unfurling to find rest upon the crown of his hairless head. He bent at the waist, bowing down to touch those knuckles to the floor before violently recoiling up and throwing both arms out wide.

"AR-R-R-AH-H-H-H-H-G!!"

The mendicant tilted his head back as he roared up, and into, the ceiling; Unleashing the remainder of his wrath in a single...unbroken...yell.

And then, Dithakar knew pain again.

Sorrow, too.

He came down once more, landing firmly on his forearms as he tried to bury his bearded face as far into his bloodied chest as was possible. Somehow, through the sting of innumerable cuts, he managed to find room to regret his actions. It was too late to change what he had done, but even he had to admit that the necessity of them...

That he, ancient and hardened by specific training, had been forced to unleash so much force to subdue the much younger...and far less disciplined...fighter across from him.

Dithakar hoped the Russian was okay, and that he never had to fight him again.

Because, he knew, next time Bishop would come prepared.
