Rain noticed her blush more then once at his comments and his actions, this only made him like her more. He chuckled when she said that she had worked on her speech for an hour. "I would have liked to have been the person you recited it over and over to but, work called." He said with a shrug. He loved his job but hated it at moments as well. When he held her in his arms briefly he felt her squirm and it made him smile and want to find out what else made her squirm, then again it might have just been his touch; or atleast he hoped it was. Once she said his name he chuckled at her reaction, he was going to have fun with her. When she commented on people looking he pulled away from her and looked where her eyes were staring. "Maids, they are quick to talk and quick into bed, let them see, they'll never deserve or have a man that could compare to the one you deserve." He said seeing her blush deepen. "Don't do that . . . or I won't be able to hold back." He stated looking away from her for a moment. She was so adorable when she blushed it made his mind wander to things he shouldn't be thinking about at the moment. Especially since they just agreed to try out their relationship.

He missed her comment about dancing and watched as she danced a little and came back to him. He smiled softly at her. "I'd prefer holding you in my arms other then watching you dance. Though I wouldn't mind watching you dance later for me when it's just us." He teased, seeing if he could get her to blush again. He pulled her to him once more and slowly moved her towards a dark corner. He knocked on the wall then it opened and it closed behind them. "Now there are not watchful eyes." He said in a playful low growl. He kissed her softly then more passionately. "I know the night just started but . . . Is it over yet?" He asked snuggling into her neck taking in her scent. "Our guests haven't arrived or I haven't seen them yet." He said biting her neck softly. "I think when I get board I'm gonna have to sneak you away. You really shouldn't have kissed me in the mountains." He said in a bit more serious tone. "That was like throwing a stake infront of a starving man and telling him if he can not eat it until everyone at the party left. If he touches it he goes back on the streets but if he resists temptation he'll never go hungry again. . . . . I'm that starving man . . . you my sweet are the stake." He said pulling her into him a bit more and kissing her neck and letting his hands wander a bit teasing her as well.

Cathy raised a concerned a brow, with a somewhat shocked expression. "wh-what...", she exclaimed. Cathy ears soaked up her partners words carefully. meanwhile his pleasing gestures excited her body, and painted her face pink as she blushed. She couldn't help but let out a girlish yelp, and squirm instinctively as his mouth teased her body."R-rain we shouldn't", she protested. "Im sorry for teasing you", she said in a hushed tone, kissing him back softly. "The guest could come any moment, i can't just walk out of here with man. That would be such a scandalous first impression", she said squirming with an blush of embarrassment."Good things come to those who wait, hm?", she said, as her chest pressed against him due to closeness. Looking up into his gray irises she tapped his nose."Down boy!, down", she teased, and giggled.

On our way to the courtyard, we saw the Azuran people gathered on the sidelines. I glanced up and saw the Azuran Queen standing on a balcony as she finished her speech, " That was an inspiring speech." He thought as the carriage came to a stop. He stepped out and saw a maid waiting for them, " The Queen is awaiting you." She said as she led them into the castle and up to the stairs and into the Queen's receiving pallor.

She had prepared herself tonight for the grand ball, so many leaders and people were to attend tonight and she would get to meet a whole new slew of people and make her mother proud. She found the finest gown for the evening made of pale green and gold silks. The corset part hugged her tiny lithe frame as she remained in her more human looking form instead of her fae form. Her hair was left down, golden curly locks that went down the middle of her back and her make up was completed. She was indeed going to be the bell of the ball.


She descended down the stairs excited to show her mother how beautiful she looked, she went over to the balcony where she saw her mother with the Grand Duke. She knew they liked each other, she couldn't blame her mother for liking the Grand Duke, he was handsome. Akaisha never knew much about her father and her mother never really talked about him much....but enough of that.


She was lead by one of the guards over to the balcony and she curtsied to her mother in politeness and spoke out softly. "Hello mother, Grand Duke Nior, I hope you both like my dress, I had it made special for tonight.." She said in soft tones with a warm smile on her face not meaning to interrupt their little interlude but she wanted her mothers opinion. Her little golden Tiara was shining through her golden hair and the skirts of the gown were so billowy it was almost if she were swallowed whole in satin.

She wasn't sure in the beginning rather she wished to go to the Seelie court or not, she had a feeling the war wasn't truly ended between the vampires and werewolves and she really didn't want to see the leaders from those continents get into an all in out brawl either. She almost wished to go in her dragon form and set some of those night creatures a blaze but she behaved herself like a lady and followed the prince to the carriage.


She went in wearing a white simple gown, she didn't feel the need to dress up to much for the occasion, comfort was most suited for her, she did look stunning in simple items. They placed some sort of flower wreath in her hair symbolizing she was indeed the princess of Draconia which was annoying to her but she wore it anyhow. She walked in with Neltheria and Vladimir heading inside as instructed after leaving the carriage into the receiving parlor. She could smell the different species arriving a mile away and some of them made her nose turn up in disgust, but she managed to hide it well.


She spoke to Vladimir and Neltheria telepathically. ~*~"Why did we come here again? If it was for the food we could have gotten that else where.."~*~ She stated to them calmly and just kept silent among the crowd refusing drink for the moment as her back was against the wall with her arms folded staring at Vladimir and Neltheria awaiting responses.

They say the war is over but is it really? She wasn't certain on that, what she was certain about was she wasn't going to let those mangy mutts take over any more land or humans and if they attempted she would rip those dogs apart again. Those were good times, too bad the blood wasn't drinkable. Oh well such as life...or death...or whatever they call it now a days, she didn't pay attention, she lived, for eternity, that's all she knew besides ruling.


She appeared in her finest black gown with jewels adorning her fingers, neck and wrists, a pair of jeweled earrings and a simple tiara symbolizing who she was would do. She was definitely bathed in luxury this evening, her pouty red lips perked into a smirk as she entered the receiving lounge, everyone from dragon to demon was here, how delightful.


She hadn't smelled any mutts yet, she had a small entourage of blood suckers with her in case anything went sour. She smiled at everyone not saying much yet but she would speak when spoken too at this point and she hoped no one would ask her about the war or lack there of, it was not something she wished to discuss this evening. She sat on a large lavish couch in the lounge with her entourage standing by it protecting their queen if necessary.

After listening to the speech she and the other two were escorted to the Parlor. Neltheria looked around the parlor and thought it a bit gaudy for her tastes. She preferred the caves of her volcanic home. When she last spoke to the council they said they would construct a palace to be the center rather than force the other races to endure the heat. She began to wonder if the white dragon aspect foresaw this or planned it.

As Neltheria looked around she noticed openings in the guard patrols and points where the walls were the weakest. She noticed a couple guards slacking here and there. Fed up she decided to say something. Despite being a festival she walked over to the two fed up, "Hey, you two do your damned job you ********. You've got about six openings in your patrols routes and would it kill you to look up once in a while and check the shadow's. These are the openings assassins see and take."

The guards looked at her and seemed insulted. One spoke, "Listen lady we've got things covered. So commoner move a long and enjoy the festival."

She let out a sigh, "Fine idiots," she returned to the two.

Hearing Serenity's question she answered with a calm monotonous tone, "To enjoy a festival and to possibly look into opening a new trade route from these lands to ours. The war of our lands devastated many crops of the few fae that do live in our lands. Our kin our doing their best to repair the damage, but it will take time. Until then we need trade." She picked up a bottle of vodka and took a drink. "Until then enjoy the party but don't let your guard down. Eyes open an pay attention."

He nodded to his mother, then realized where he got his drinking from. He then gulped down his drink and set the glass down and grabbed another one, " Understood." He said as he looked at his sister, who remained silent. He looked around and saw everyone having a blast and partying. He wasn't one to party, but he was one to drink and when he was drunk, he would have a blast, but of course sometimes he wouldn't remember what happened that night, and he wasn't about to ruin his pride by getting drunk and messing stuff up.

She stayed like stone as she just stared off listening to the two especially her majesty. She looked over to the vampire queen, she could smell the death on her. She sighed not saying anything to anyone in the room just yet, all these species in one room just felt awkward. She had a short blade hidden in her corset in case of an attack and she could always resort to breathing fire on everyone and asking questions later, but she might be in big trouble by momma dragon if she did.


So they were here to enjoy themselves, how were they to do so with so many openings and so many idiots surrounding them? She closed her eyes for a moment and walked up to Neltheria speaking softly. "Your majesty, I will try to try....to enjoy myself, but the guards are morons and I have a bad feeling once the wolves and the blood suckers get into the same room." She said quietly so only she could hear for the moment as she continued on. "I don't think these fay are realizing what they are doing, their glitz and glamour are blinding them from the possible blood bath that is before them.. like I said, why did we come here again?" She asked softly as she looked to Vladimir who she was sure was listening and then back to her true queen awaiting a response. She was doing her best not to be a hot head literally.

It wasn't long before, the anticipated guest would arrive, but first the queen drew her attention to her one and only daughter. Akai was clad in a beautiful gown of gold and green."Oh Akaisha, how lovely. You look Beautiful, my darling. You do take after your mother in every way", she said admiringly, as she stood up and briefly caressed the curve of her head." I have yet to change into my Ball, gown my self actually. These are just my morning clothes", she told her. It wasn't abnormal for a High-class women to change often throughout the day. Cathy took a seat on the lavish furnishings again, and slid her hand across the floral print satin of her skirt as, her she turned her head to the door, where a servant, announced the arrival of the Draconian Royal family. Cathy smiled welcomingly, but before she spoke she turned to Rain, who would by know be by her side,"I told you they would here soon", she whispered, and grinned triumph.

From her seat she could see The young, Dragon prince talking to himself. Cathy certainly questioned such odd behavior but as usually her propriety and etiquette, made her bite her tongue. "Welcome, Queen Nelthria of Dragons,Princess Serenity, And you as well Prince Vladimir", she greeted, whilst smiling regally. It was only a few moments after that The arrival of the Vampire queen,Nimena was announced. She was poised women, with blonde curls, and deep red lips, and wore the finest black dress. "Thank you for joining us, Queen Nimena of Pandorra. Forgive me for prying, but.. Where might your husband & Children be", she inquired respectively.

A moment past before she received an answer. A group of maids & Pages Brought in Tea and snacks for everyone, setting a cups for all the guest on a a table which lied in the center, of all the Furnishings. After the said cups had been filled, she took a quick sip before speaking again, "So How was Everyone's journey here? I do Hope it was well.", she said in an eloquent tone, trying to make conversation.

He, too was kind of worried about the Werewolves and Vampires. How they would act being in the same room together, so he understood his sister on why she was kind of nervous.
