Eärwa. A world from another dimension, where earthlings will not ever get to know. It is a dimension, where magic exists. Once, the barrier between the different dimensions, so be it demon and spirit world, were close and touchable. There was no order and soon chaos and ravage emerged by the significant difference of the classes. The weak came to its speedy extinctions, while the stronger ones fought for power. If ever a God exists, no one knew, since he never showed any signs of his existence. Only when it was too late, when the earth of humans were destroyed, when the spirit world stopped reproducing lives, when the demon and magic world met their limit, only then did the superior with power came to the conclusion of peace. They decided to separate their worlds and closed down the gates; forever. With combined powers of light- and dark magic, they were able to seal the barrier, securing inner spatial peace or destruction. After that, after the long destructive war, after reflecting to their own greedy action, it took them millions of years for recovery, accomplishing back its prosperity, culture and dense population.

Except for the magic world, known as Eärwa. The system of this world resembles the rules of mere animals; every species lived with their own and they only fought others when they needed to. And of course the so well known; the fittest one survives, but that saying takes on a different position than in earth. Eärwa is resided by many strong and magical creatures and no one dared to test’s its power yet. Until now, by a monarchy emerging from the surface of powerful sorcerer. This group wants unity; which meant power all over Eärwa. With their combined strong magical powers, they created a civilization and a Kingdom within a thousand year. Oh, that may sound horribly long for you, but for them it was like a leap of seconds. These creatures are accustomed with tradition, habits and their own rituals; no one was in search for change! Up to now. To prove his strength and power the King decided to create his own people, who he calls “the Halflings” and his children. These Halflings are hybrids from two different species and they are often stronger and has more advantage than from its parents. But not always, those others who didn’t meet his expectations were killed. The Halflings inhabit beside other individual species the towns and villages the King built. They are the symbol for the unity the King is striving. Now, every magical creatures is forced to join the new community or they will have to face death or slavery.

But, the monarchy has still a long way to go, as there are still many species who are fighting back or hiding behind their nest. The king, naturally the strongest of the sorcerers, is a wicked creature. Barely no one noticed that, blurred by his great charming skills and his tremendous power. And this king was bored. He thought to have found entertainment by ruling Eärwa, but it turned out to be quite dull. Due to a cloaked character, one of his secret servants, he learned about Earth and the humans: creatures looking like him, but with the difference of having no magical power. For so many centuries, only few knew the existence of the other dimensions and they tried their best to keep that secret. Even though, it was not their doing, this mantled character somehow and strangely knew about them. This caught the Kings interest and slowly his mind started working for a crazy plan, a twist or a game, to make everything more interesting.

With a huge amount of dark magic, he lifted the barrier between Eärwa and Earth for a tiny little bit and for a short time. For that, he had to sacrifice many of his best sorcerer’s life, but in the king’s eye, it was worth it. As he received many more:

Humans.


With a blink of an eye, you lose conscious. With a loud thud, you fall on the hard ground. In your subconscious, you could feel a force dragging you. When you wake up, you find yourself in a large and pompous hemicycle, but you are very weary and your eyesight is blurry. But you can recognize other people around you, also lying on the floor, being as confused as you are and not to forget; a thin and small man in the middle of the room, his dark eyes piercing down to all of you. But after a few seconds you fall asleep again. When you wake up, your eyes meet a wooden ceiling. You look around, but you are alone. The room is scarce, but the most shocking sight is the clothes you are wearing. Woollen brown T-Shirts and Trousers, brown boots and a brown cloak. You didn’t have time to think though, the next upcoming seconds after waking up, someone comes into your room, welcoming you in the world of Eärwa and asks you to follow him. With great hesitation you follow him and sooner or later (depends how some of you react to the situation), you arrive in a room filled with other’s like you. There, you are informed why you are here. He says that every one of you were summoned to help them defeat the evil, who is terrorizing and killing the weak residents. And that you are all special, because of the strong powers you all have within you. You didn’t know of feel your powers, because it couldn’t bloom in Earth, as there is no magic there. But here, in Eärwa, you are able to use and master it. Moreover, every one of you will receive a reward; everything you wish, but only when you finished all the missions you are given. You can also go home, even though your mission is not complete yet, but under some conditions, which he will explain after lunch. Alas, with a serious face, he tells you

“Don’t die or you won’t be able to come back home alive.”

Without giving much further explanation, he claps his hands and announces lunch, bringing you downstairs, where every one of you eat with mix feelings. For one month, you stayed there, learning your new magic powers with a strange prohibition to not meet your colleagues in private. Every single one had his private training and only with supervision, you could see each other, for example during breakfast, lunch or dinner. Then at last, after a month, you as a group are left alone, with a parchment, where your mission is written on.

Eärwa is divided in four continents. In this story, we will start with the northern, middle continent, where the King has established his Kingdom.

There are three main locality, named by their distinct residents and they are:

Aelmead is the land with green grass, hills, spare forests, fertile soil and commonly resided by herds of neutral and peaceful magical beings. On the seacoast, it’s breezy and salty. In the southern seacoast, there is a swamp just in front of the wyg tides; a dangerous place to be while fishing or passing through with boat or ship. If you are careless, you will get caught by the Harpy’s lullaby, calling you to the annular riff of the island, where nothing but death awaits you. Aelmead is also enriched by a beautiful forest and forest swamp.

Fallford is the opposite. It is chilly, dry, dour and stony. Then, there is the deep crest; the thick and dark forest of monsters, elves and other strong magical beings like centaurs. Many tell that the trees itself are alive and would crunch and squash you to death. Not many dare to go into the deep crest. The only way to go through is the narrow curvy forest trail, but safety is not assured, as many awaits to come out their hiding for food. Alternatively, the longer and tedious option is wandering around the forest.

Eriborough has more or less a balanced climate. A mix of green hills and mountains. It’s a bit hotter than the other two, situated nearby the southern part of Eärwa. The southland starts with dry land and oppressive weather. If you wander further south, you will meet the desert.

The deep crick is the mountain chain; gigantic, cold and dangerous. It’s a wall which separates Aelmed and Fallford. If you go through deep crick, you will probably meet trolls, goblins, gigantic wolves and many more. It’s probably not the best idea to climb up there.

The Rhim mountain is a bit different now. It doesn’t have that much menacing creatures, but it’s being occupied by another serious foe; dwarves. They are scattered inside the Rhim Mountains. No one really knows which part of the mountains, not even the entrance, but everyone is certain: they are there.

The coloured squares are the town the King managed to build. Every town is controlled by one of the King’s generals or Sorcerers; they have the obligation to follow the King’s order. These distributed towns are resided by Halflings or by individual creatures who has a good opinion of the King; like dwarves.


＊♟. YELLOW : DRY GULCH
Dry Gulch lies in the beginning top of the huge and only known desert of the planet. Temperatures are unbearable without building up tolerance. The natives live and thrive in this area quite used to it's deadly heat. The residents build houses out of mud bricks, stone, and clay huts, some of metal. Rare desert animals and delicacies are found here. They have a steampunk way of life. Carts pulled by oxen, and chariots and camels. Clothes are light colored linen, animal furs, heavy jewelry, and Victorian clothing. They hold events in the great coliseum such as fights between great warriors, races, and bull teasing. Their main skills are: Rare food, Entertainment, Carpentry, Inventions.

＊♟. GREEN : DAMEREL
The habitants in Damerel host festivals and lead a very agriculture life. Their diet consists of fruits, vegetables and various animals. Horses are ridden as transportation. They are good at planting and taming various monster as their herd. Damerels live in wooden, stable huts, gently scattered around the green field. Their main skills are: Food, Herbs and Taming animals.

＊♟. RED : SOLARIS & THE KINGDOM
This is the futuristic location of Eärwa. They are the most advanced with flying cars. The buildings are usually skyscrapers, big metal houses, and compacted apartments. Most of the population lives here, their lives move quickly. Their main skills are: Technology, Transportation, Businesses.

＊♟. BLUE : EELRY
Eelry is quietly isolated from the others. Circled by menacing forest and hard and cold mountains. But maybe just for their fortune. The live by fishing and raising crops, though they are mostly concentrated in fishing. Eelry is known by its high educational system, sorcerers and future general of the King go there for education until they are ready to serve the King. But it’s not as advanced as the Kingdom. They do have advanced housing, but they still travel with horses or magical beings. Not much technology. Their clothes are made of coloured wool and leather. Their main skill are: Fishing, Education

＊♟. ICE - BLUE : AYRITH
This is the icey area. Arctic people live here in very harsh cold weather. Fish type meals are their main diet. They are advanced in weapons, using every part of the animal and of course the mountains. Like the dwarves they mine stones and use them for blacksmithing and for house construction. House structures are made from whale bones and animal furs or stones. Ayriths are dressed in heavy furs and leathers. Their main skills are: Hunting, crafting jewelleries, Blacksmithing.

The circles are the portals. They looked like lost and isolated gateway, constructed on thick trees or on a huge rock. These portals were once used by the King, but they were all deactivated caused by individuals who took its magical item away. These magical items are actually hidden, matching its colour and shape with the rest of frame. When taken out it will turn into a blue gem and the portals are deactivated.

Magic is the physical embodiment of the spirit. When the physical spirit of an organism connects with the spiritual flow of nature, the spirit forms Magic as a product of the connection. It takes an enormous amount of concentration and mental ability to use Magic.

All kinds of Magic are used in Eärwa and they can be used for many purposes such as offense, defense, supporting, and healing. Magic is used by exerting their Magic Power as a wide variety of spells or by focusing it into an external source. In order to learn Magic you must train your intellect and spirit.However, it should be noted that the stronger the Magic, the more it tends on selecting its wielder; if the Mage's mind is frail, the Magic will take over and destroy them.

To utilize Magic, a Mage must use Magic Power in their body. Magic Power is the source of Power for all Mages, it is composed of Eternano. Every Mage has a container inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power. In the case that it becomes empty, Eternano comes from the atmosphere and enters the Mages' body and, after a while, their Magic Power is returned to normal. However, recent studies have identified another, unused, part of a Mages' Magic container that contains a large amount of dormant power: the Second Origin. If a Mage somehow manages to unlock their Second Origin, they will then receive an enormous boost in Magic Power, they can wait until the right moment to unleash the Magic Power of their Second Origin in order to gain an advantage in the battle.

There are many methods how you can develope your magic powers; there are some with stronger magic powers and there are some with weak ones:

Rare mages have the power to summon their magic without much concentration or intelligence. They have a high sensibility of their inner-self and can easily connect with their spirit. Or they are specifically bestowed with magic power by deities (nature!).

The main characters(humans) will get to magic through nature-talent or receiving from the deities.

Some works treat magic as a force that is acquired through studying books and tomes.

＊♟. ENCHANTMENT
.....
Magically enchanted items, such as talisman or wands.

＊♟. BESTOWMENT
.....
Magic may also be gained by having it bestowed upon one by another, either through a pact with a devil or with other spirits. In some cases, the demon may only provide the means for the would-be wizard to learn magic or the pact may be for the devil to do the magic on the wizard's behalf, forcing the wizard to compel it to act. Or some powerful Mages are able to pass on Magics, often the most rare, to other Mages for them to utilize. Doing this leaves a mark in the form of a tattoo in the Mage's body that seems to fade away if they don't have access to the Magic that was given to them.

Every Magic has its own set of rules that must never be broken, known as a taboo. Different taboos that are broken have different effects on the user's body. One of them can lead to death or sickness.

There are other groups scattered around the world of Eärwa. Not all groups have six members; they may be only two, four or seven. It highly depends how the group works together, how strong they can protect each other and how you can survive in this world. Groups may bump to each other and continue their journey together as a bigger group or they may part again, not convinced with the others leadership. It’s almost like a competition, which group and who will succeed and survive the longest.

Every character has a bracelet. You can’t take them off and every bracelet has a stone on them. At first it’s black, but the more you kill a species from Eärwa, the more the stone gets a colour. When the stone is fully coloured, you have the choice to go home, but only to be summoned the next day. You will be told, that the King, who has great compassion and is sorrowful to have to call you for support, made these bracelet, so that you won’t have to bear any homesickness for a long amount of time. But in secret, you are pouring him strength, as he is weakened; lifting the seal do cost a lot of energy after all. The bracelet collects the other’s races magical essence after being killed and the King is taking a portion from it, but only if used the stone to go home.

The better the material and engine are, the faster can the machine react and converts the drivers command. To drive the flying car, the driver must be a magic wielder. How fast and pleasant the ride can depends on the driver’s mastery of his magic.
