not the boogie man? ok. if he said so. carefully she reached up and grabbed onto the branch. she carefully tested her hold while she spoke. "i don't know... I'd like to drink truthfully, but not that crap...it looks....ewwy" she stated as she carefully pulled herself up "regardless of that being total yuck, it'd be illegal for me to drink anyway." she struggled to get the words out until she was technically safe ontop of the branch. when she saw he was standing she frowned. 'how is he doing that?' she thought as she stared at him with narrowed eyes. after a minute or two of silence she sowly and shakily began to stand up as well. normaly she was the most daring when it came to climbing trees.

Clara's eyes narrowed slightly at the man's behavior. After walking a beat a while a cop could tell when something was going wrong. It could have been the way he lingered instead of being on his way. It could have been that he was actually out walking when he should have been asleep.

But she did not want him walking around any longer.

"Move along sir." Clara said as she placed her hand on the handle of her katana, "I can't be delayed on my walk."

Sylus stared down at the young officer while silently wishing that he hadn't gotten into an argument with Eli. his free hand brushed through his hair and he simply smiled and nodded before turning around and walking purposefully making it so that they were both headed in the same direction. he couldn't help it! this officer was like his little friend. he didn't want to up and leave her on the streets...

when he thought he felt a pair of eyes on him he raised his hands and simply stated "my friend took off down this way," he pointed a finger while keeping his hands up. "I'm just trying to find her." what he said was both the truth and a lie. His little Eli had gone this way to shadow step but he wasn't looking for her. there was no point in that. once she stepped away she wasn't found till she wanted to be. After a second or two he lowered his hands only to raise one again for a long drag from his cigarette. This time he left the thing hanging from his lips.

Evice was invited into her place after a short elevator ride, they seemed to be going up quite a ways. They elevator stopped on the thirteenth floor. "Thats very macabre. I like it." He thought to himself. When stepping in the first thing he ntook notice to was the window. "Whoa! Look at that view!" Evice's voice became lighter and peppy sounding.

He called out for Yumi "Hey, Yumi. Would you mind if i came to get some pictures sometime? I mean this is incredible." He turned away from the window to try and find Yumi so there wasnt a ruckus coming from past her door.

The woman let her hand rest on the hilt of her blade as he begun to walk in the same direction as the gentleman. She didn't know his name, but suddenly she felt like she was the Cop who would escort him to his home. Her dark hair blew in the wind as she looked up at him, pausing only to drink her coffee.

"Your friend? When was the last time you saw them?" The Cop asked as she started to look in the direction he pointed, "Did you call? How long have they been missing?" The woman asked, her tone suddenly changing.

It was now a missing person case.

"Why was she running?"

"she took off a few minutes ago. got mad at me. she'll show up tomorrow surely." he stated trying to calm the woman down a little as he flicked his cigarette into the road. "she was running around somewhere over there." he pointed in the direction she'd run off to shadow step in. "she told me to go home but I don't feel like I should. not with her being upset at me and all." he muttered as he scratched the back of his head.

"So I am your first visitor then? What an honor, Miss Yumi."Evice chuckled lowly. He saw her fangs being bared slightly towards him, "So, It looks like youre hungry after all, yeah?" He smiled and sat down in a nearby seat. "Im not exactly sure how youre going to be doing this, so i think ill just trust you on that matter."

by now Eli had both her hands out and was wobbling from very poor balance. she listened to him talk about the absinthe and when she saw him walking upsidedown she gave a grin and simply muttered "show off" when he came back up though she finally faulterd and slipped from the branch. she was very high up so her brains told her to keep her arms out. her hands ready to grab onto a branch, which, thankfully they did. she yelped but held tightly, her feet frantically searching the empty air beneath her. "help...uh....please" she muttered. she had definitely scrapped her hands but she was going to say a word about it. she understood the half vamp thing. if he pulled jack s**t she'd fall. she'd let go and free fall into the shadows.

XXXXXXXXXX Yumi looked at him, and seeing him... he seemed to be nervous. She sat front of him as she would rub her shoulder. Looking at him, and a bit pissed since her fangs were showing.

"A.. are you sure? I mean... I don't know. I have been on a diet..."

For a year. Is been a year that she drank blood... feeding herself from rats after all, this was a bit annoying for her. And yes, she was hungry. Terribly hungry... she would do anything to obtain her food, but not now, she had to keep herself controlled.

"I don't mind... but..."

She smiled softly. Her fangs were already revealed.

"Just a bite, okay?"

Clara's lips pulled into a line across her face as Sylus answered the questions. Perhaps it was not a missing person, but it was still important to know. "Teenagers these days...." She whispered as she saw the man flick the cigarette onto the street.

"You do know I am a cop? Distressed teenager or not, you cannot litter."

The woman held her cup against her mouth with a sneer, motioning for at the trash that he had thrown on the ground. "I'll check out where your friend went. But if you don't pick up I'll have to write you a ticket."
