GUESS WHAT! I did a check up for you and marshmallow creme doesn't have gelatin in it! which makes sense, because gelatin is probably used so marshmallows can keep their pillowy shape but you obviously don't need that in spread since it's supposed to be an ooey gooey mess.
HOORAY IT IS A REVOLUTIONARY DAY IN YOUR EATING HABITS!
but really though, you could probably save yourself some trouble (unless vegetarian marshmallows are cheap/easy to get) and just use the fluff as a substitute in rice krispies. ^__^
