The butterfly nostalgia isn't entirely directly related to digmon as a kid,
It's from watching the subbed version when I was about grade 8/9?

It doesn't feel like the old digimon,
But I like how it's sort of matured? Or feels that way?
I at least don't think the old cartoon-y/bright coloured style would fits the themes their going for with this series of movies.
Like in the first ten minutes or something where they showed the Adventure 02 kids was pretty ominous/dark,
And then the Taichi stuff,
And probably whatever character development Jo is going to go through.
