Kind of a dumb thing for a topic but I wonder if anyone else ever noticed...

In the Avatar the Last Airbender series and Legend of Korra as well, for Appa and the other Skybison, when it shows them with the saddles on their backs, there are no straps on them to help keep the saddles from falling off. What? What's keeping the saddles on then? sweatdrop

When it shows Korra's Polarbeardog Naga with her saddle on, it has straps. xd
Ha I just imagine that the people that drew everything were too lazy to add the straps to the Skybisons saddles. xd

Kind of neat but also kind of odd. It seems like it would be rather uncomfortable for him to have his fur all in it like that. Straps would be better. But yeah I suppose it's easier to draw it like that instead I guess.

I was actually thinking that his fur might not have been long enough to braid and wrap around those things. I know it could be of course braided but maybe not long enough to fit into the saddle thing. I don't know. =/

Well look at all the crazy adventures Appa has been on with Aang and crew. He's even fallen out of the sky when he fell to sleep while flying. There'd be no way the saddle could stay on without straps. xp
