oh hell yeah, it's really common with kyoani from what I hear
they make commercials to show off their studio/talent/whatever else
and well, that swimming one just made a big enough ruckus to get it into an anime xD

I actually don't like watching sports, it's boring to me <<;
but I don't mind playing it, I find it enjoyable - just can't sit through watching it
because I'd rather play it then watch it if that makes any sense
I think the reason I'm fine with it in anime format is the fact that it's not just watching them play?
it also shows their though process, how they feel and stuff like that
I just can't get the same experience if I watch real sports? //shot
