I’ve had something on my mind for quite some time now. M.O.R.P.H.’s Three Year Anniversary is coming up, which is pretty great… except for one thing. As much as it puts a nasty taste in my mouth to say it, I feel that the shop’s days are numbered. I’ve been seeing a decrease in the shop’s activity for several months now. I was hopeful that the shop’s activity would pick back up, but I realize that the shop’s condition has only continued to deteriorate, and I am left with the burden of making the decision to shut her down.
However… M.O.R.P.H. has always been more than just an art shop to some of you who are reading this (as well as for myself). This has been somewhat of a second home to some of us, a place for us to come in, chat, vent, seek guidance, and often bust through the walls and allow total chaos to ensue. I am genuinely grateful for the artists and regular guests who have taken the time out of their days to come into this thread. You guys are the human factor that gave this thread a purpose, and most importantly, you guys gave it life.
It has been a pleasure getting to work with my fellow shop mates, and getting to chat with the awesome users who graced this thread with their conversations. This shop may be shutting down, but that doesn’t mean that the friendships that have been built within these thread walls have to shut down along with her. I’ve built a new thread in the Friends Chat subforum in honor of the Unorthodox Clubhouse that M.O.R.P.H. really is, so I cross my fingers and hope to see some of you there. ♥
