Hahaha I feel the same way at the moment XD
Flat colouring is definitely easier than soft shading.
And I don't mind, I need to practice using this new tablet anyway. What do you use when drawing?

Aw so cute!! I think your lines are fine =] and your shading here is pretty good too. Do you use Gimp?

Yea when I started out I use to draw by hand then edit on the computer as well. Eventually you get used to drawing straight onto the computer, plus when you make mistakes CTRL+Z becomes your best friend. lol.

I use photoshop because i'm just so used to it, but I hear GIMP is just as good. I wanna try using SAI sometime.

It's like the best thing in the world XD I wish real life had a CTRL+Z button.

Ah cool, I struggle with photoshop but I know it's got a lot of handy tools that some other programs don't have.
I started out with Gimp then I started using Sai, both are pretty good. ATM i'm using Gimp since I feel like I'm starting from scratch again.

I am almost done with the drawing!
It will be black and white, if that is all right.
I started school again so I don't think coloring will happen very quickly.
