This post deals with only the parts of his life that have led to his physical appearance and pieces of his personality...
Hale Hollowell is a cyborg from the future and was born on 6/9/2613 and pretty tall, like...6 foot 4. One can only guess at the amount of strength he can exert when he wears his armor that reduces the stress on his still flesh and blood body. His eyes are cyan, an electrical blue. The colored parts on his armor glows and can be turned off to give him a black silhouette.
Hale was such a little mama's boy when he was little, he was raised without a father figure. He was always trying his best to please his mom and be the best he could. Until the town they lived in was stormed in by 'the enemy' one night. He had been adopted by a doctor who found little Hale huddled in a dark corner. Hale grew very attached to the doctor quickly, he would help around by cleaning the office and lab, bringing things to the doctor, or running back and forth sending papers to different offices. When he was old enough, he was drafted as a soldier. He already lived on the base anyways.
Time went on and he was injured on on duty..well more like tortured for some bad actions and mistakes which led to him becoming a cyborg. (He just says the prior to sound cool.)He had his fingers ripped apart bone by bone and so on until the damage was up to his shoulder, he had attempted to romance the daughter of an enemy commander at 19. A year later, he felt like he never had enough to gamble and would steal jewelery and such. One day, he stole from the wrong person. The man took his things back, and took the stealing arm as a souvenir. Now, Hale had lost both arms to bad actions, pretty much branded. But no one would know why he had his mechanical limbs except for himself.
Hale was also unfortunate enough to be cut in half by a triggered laser, which also cauterized his wound, allowing him survive long enough to be medically helped by receiving some replacement hips and legs. He was overtly self conscious about it for a long time, loosing so much of what was left of himself from such a mistake.
This means his arms up to his shoulders and hips and below are mechanical. Do not mess it up. <3
Over the years he grew to wear his mechanical limbs in a way that it looked like a status symbol. He would flaunt his strength and abilities. But he never forgot the things he did to get there, his mistakes and bad actions. He had lost his ability to feel with his hands, to feel his feet get tired. He lost being able to feel his hands grow cold, or how it felt to touch something soft. Hale would bring things up to his face to feel the textures and temperatures against his lips or cheek. But he would never do it infront of anyone, as it would probably look awfully awkward to say "Can I rub your hair against my face? It looks so soft."
Since he is a cyborg, apart from sleeping and eating, he also needs to charge up. Also, severe overheating because of his black armor and freezing weather because of the metals he is grafted to, are dangerous to him. He is known to pass out, collapse when ever his battery goes out. His robotic arms and legs can be removed for easy fixing and doesn't harm him in anyway. His metal weight had made him negatively buoyant, causing to sink like a rock in water. He quickly became terrified of water deeper than a couple of feet.
Hale can be an a** if you treat him wrong, but its just him trying to protect what he thinks he is the last part himself that he still has. After all, he only had his most important organs and his head, as well as his mind. Hale won't forget how hard his mom tried to keep him safe, only for him to become torn apart as he grew older, failing her wish for him to stay safe. He is easily irritable, but a loyal person once you get his trust. He's known to be a big sweetheart to his closest friends.
