Hey, remember that time when you thought to yourself, "Hmmm, the AF is full of too many of the same characters. Where are the people over 20? Where are the drunks? Where are the people with terminal illnesses and the transgender folk? Where are the tattooed guys and the freckles and the cripples and the androgynous Egyptians?"

In answer to your question, they're right here, in The Censor Bar, waiting for your gifted hand to craft their likeness onto paper, or into your screens.

This is a very relaxed thread, full of friendly people and a cast of characters of which you can talk to and role play with if you so desire. If you wish to know more about any of the OCs listed, feel free to just ask to speak with them, and they'll tell you whatever it is you wish to know (Except that Richard guy, because he's shady).

Some Background: Alex was raised in Italy with his emotionally absent father and his psychotic mother. There, he was enrolled in fancy private schools, receiving an excellent education, but his grades faltered due to his developing mental illness caused by his home situation. At age twenty, he left Italy for England, and there found himself a home. He got published as a romance novelist, and found his calling. He ran around, quite content, indulging in booze and one night stands, until one of those one night stands ended up being a man who he wound up trusting and loving. Joel. He eventually asked him to move in with him, and they were quite happy until one of his personalities took over and tried to kill himself, leaving Joel afraid and incapable of staying with him any longer. Alex, now alone, is deeply depressed and drinks himself to sleep in fear of his own body betraying him again.

Some Background: Victor was born and raised in Egypt, where he was constantly watched by his family due to his illness. His father, being a man in the military, moved their family to Germany, then Russia, and when Victor became eighteen, he moved to France and lived on his own for a while. Later in life, he moved to England to settle down and live a quiet life of relative solitude until the end of his time. Even after moving away from his family, though, he could never really shake the feeling of eyes watching him, so he's a very nervous spirit. He also dabbles in the occult and puts his faith in a myriad of practices, hoping that something will come along that will actually work, for even though he has his moments of nihlism, he's really a rather quiet optimist. He's often seen with herbs and jewels that he thinks will help with something.

Some Background: The youngest of three sons, Sage grew up the black sheep in a very well-to-do family disapproving of his boisterous, rough-around-the-edges demeanor. He began exhibiting symptoms of his illness when he was nine, and by the time he was ten was completely confined to his wheelchair. Never one to be overcome by challenges, he kept his optimism and enthusiasm intact. He spent a few years traveling after college before settling back down in England and picking up a steady job as an editor, where he helps Alex in the publication of his novels.

Notable: The most obvious feature of Richard's, after his height, is his odd face, featuring a large, beak-like nose, large, puppy eyes, and razor sharp cheek bones. Both of his ears' cartiledges are pierced, and he has several tattoos. One of a flock of birds in silhouette flying up the inside of his right arm, and on the other, wrapped around his elbow, is the phrase, "I promise." He has one large sleeve tattoo featuring brightly colored fish and rushing water. On the left side of his chest, framing where one puts their hand to feel their heart, are two quotation marks. Both of his nipples and his p***s are pierced.

Some Background: Richard was a quiet, awkward, artistic child whose father completely ignored him in favor of his older brother, who was strong and athletic and handsome and did incredibly in school. Feeling outcast, hopeless, and alone, Richard ran away from home at sixteen and became homeless. He quickly fell deep into a spiral of drug abuse and shady dealings to earn money, until at twenty one he was taken in by a tattoo artist and fellow drug-addict. He was housed and became the man's understudy until he passed away due to an overdose. Homeless again, his sister Julia came to his rescue and got him cleaned up, pushed him into rehab, and helped him get back up on his feet so he could make his own living. He moved to England with his sister later, to return the favor and give her moral support for her transition surgery, and there he met Sage, his current partner.

Some Background: Julia was born a boy named Johanne, and in her youth, lived as a happy, energetic, and very athletic little boy. Over time, though, she began to realize that something didn't seem quite right, and as she aged, her school mates began to harass her about being "girly" and "faggy" and she quickly dropped from being one of the more popular kids in her class to being at the bottom, along with her big brother Richard. But unlike her brother, her optimism kept her head above water until she finished high school. She put off college to save money for her operation, and in the meantime moved a few towns away and bought herself an apartment in a very LGBTQ area, where she joined a drag club and made many friends. Now, after saving up the money, she's moved to England to get far away from her family, and has gotten top and bottom surgery, and has her new boyfriend Liam taking care of her while she recovers.

Likes: Dressing up in costumes, performing, being pampered, lilies, handsome men with adorable accents who whisper sweet nothings to her, having friends she can go out with or stay in with and eat junk food with

Dislikes: Being referred to as a transwoman instead of a woman, being treated like a child, having to take things too seriously, bullying, being forced to act a certain way, being thought of as unintelligent because of her sunny personality
