On a daily basis Enigma shows about as much emotion as a pebble, and besides the occasional smirk, could easily be mistook for an android, or a doll. Underneath the surface however, he is always calculating, his eyebrows constantly shifting position. The lack of emotion is explained by the way his morphing procedure destroyed The emotion, smile, laugh, or smirk, never reaches his eyes, which remain the same flat gold. His voice is monotonous, and on rare occasions might obtain a bored, or teasing lilt. Yet, it will never raise in volume, he does not believe on childish games of yelling and screaming. The lack of inflection, or volume, can sometimes make him hard to understand, but it doesn’t matter how he speaks, you better listen. If you don’t, you will soon learn how to tell the difference between an angry, and an amused Enigma, probably sometime after he tears off your face.
Enigma is almost constantly bored, and usually spends most of his day finding something worth his attention. This boredom leads him to wander, gives him a thirst for challenges, and a habit of trying to push other’s buttons. The boredom is easily turned into annoyance, which is his second most common state of mind. He is easily annoyed, and given to horrendous headaches. One thing he never seems to feel however is surprise. He has a very good system of informants, and finds out most things, before anyone else. He uses his normal mood of cool indifference to tackle most things, with occasionally sparks in anger, or annoyance.
Having the brain of a psychic pokemon leads to odd behaviors. Enigma’s mind is always racing, and he can leap to new problems before he fully solves another. When walking his mind has a habit of going off on tangents, calculating the trajectory of an attack before dodging it, or determining how many joules it would take to move that building. When he is focused however, he is a machine, quickly taking out tasks, before growing bored, and starting the cycle over.
The man doesn’t work for Pravus because he is kind-hearted. Not even at his core. The world owes him for all of its bitchy injustices. Enigma’s sense of humor, though small, is extremely sadistic. Violence is one of the few things that entertains him. Blood tastes good, and makes thing less dull every once in a while. Enigma tortures, does not care about anyone besides himself, his profits, a few friends, and his pokemon. He is cold, and if a homeless child walked up to him, he would walk by, even if that child was a dear relative, or someone he once cared about.
Even though he is cruel, cold, and wicked he does have a few redeeming qualities. For one he is extremely clean and organized, the presence of dirt disgusts him. His Pokemon are well cared for, and loved in their own way. Lastly, though it may have started as a way to entertain himself, he is usually honest. He finds it to be the most convenient choice.
Much of his life is about a choice between more efficient and less efficient. He will choose the former, even if it is not his belief.

Selectively Charismatic - While he is normally a surly person he can pretend to be a nice, amiable, and even happy fellow. Of course, he doesn't do it without reason.
Secretive / Isolationist / Surly / Blunt / Rude - While he seems at home with people on business ventures, he is actually extremel introverted, and easily tired of human company. He much prefers spending his time at home. Outside of business most words will be met with angry, a sigh, or an insult. He's only friendly as far as money is concerned.
Businessman - He has spent most of his life learning how to make the sell, and applies it to personal relationships as well. His work not only comes home with him, but happens to be his whole life. Merchant would sell his soul. for a profit (and some say he already has). But this presents two different sides to Ezekiel, the one that seems charismatic, selfless, and harmless, and his true self. The latter is used almost solely behind closed days.
Greedy - Money makes the world go around, and motivates Merchant. While he does not live overly well, his house is an old drafty heirloom, he still manages to hoard money enough to swim in.
Hates Pokemon - Brainwashed from early childhood, since shortly after Kindergarten, Merchant despises pokemon, and sees them as little more than a nasty way to meet an ends. He will never see them as anything more than tools.
Sneaky - There is a reason he's been alive so long when he goes toe to toe with pokemon. He uses a variety of lies, strategies, traps, and bait to outwit and trick his opponent. He does not engage in battle without a strategy.
Cowardly - If he does not have the upper hand, or the means to do so, he will not engage in a forward fight. Merchant is a coward.
Manipulative - He will do whatever it takes to win, and to profit. Make no mistake.
Cutthroat- He'd sell his mother, if his father hadn't done that. He often sells out his rivals, and associate's, to the wealthy and well off. He does so under a pseudonym of course.
Survivalist - Though the amount of scars seem to pronounce him a slow learner, they also mark him as alive. He's been homeless, in the gutters, and in jail. Somehow he comes out on top.

Aubre sweet Aubre. She must have some rodent, mostly mouse, DNA buried in her body somewhere. The girl displays the alert and timid attitude seen in most mice. While she was once outgoing, bold, ballsy and amiable, an incident in her past took her personality and turned her life into a horrific mess.
Now, Aubre is commonly called "shy". The thing is she is not afraid of talking to people, but is afraid how they will react when she talks to them. The girl prefers to keep her mouth shut, and reply with mindless "yes's” then take a chance at offending whoever she is speaking with. While most people would laugh when someone was annoyed or embarrassed by what they said, Aubre curls in on herself, and drops to her knees in order to attempt and make everything better. The girl is afraid that every stranger is a possible abuser, or a criminal in disguise. She constantly states statistics to prove that. This is caused by her caution, which borders on paranoia, and her vivid, but very dark, imagination.
Now most people consider a vivid imagination a good thing, its Aubre’s greatest enemy. The morbid imagery that constantly has a grasp on her head makes her life next to impossible. Every time she talks to someone, she begins to imagine gruesome scenes, and horrid things they do for a living. The gothic kid down the road her mind turns him into a devil worshiper, who practices virgin sacrifice. No doubt he is currently examining her for the next offering. The ideas range anywhere from simple liars, to all out serial killers. While to us it may be humorous, the girl is plagued by these images, making proper communication difficult. A vivid imagination cages her in, clips her wings, instead of freeing them. When with her Pokemon however she can usually calm down, and even make up rather entertaining stories, though she will glaze over the bad parts.
Aubre does have good qualities. She was raised to be polite, manners were all important. Now she clings to manners and rulebooks. If it would be considered rude, she refuses to do it, and sometimes she seems to live her life from the “Polite Little Lady” handbook, though her sentences contain more stutters than commas. Besides that she is rather intelligent, book-smart, and instinct wise. The girl did very well in her school, and her high-stress battle academy. (which combined a college curriculum with Pokemon training). She has memorized her way around the city, in order to keep herself safe, and has also learned how to avoid people she would deem dangerous. On her list however, Pravus is rather low, she keeps out of their hair (no matter how nasty the y may be), and they leave her alone. When not being self-conscious about how “winning” makes her opponent feel, Aubre is also a decent trainer.
Let me clear up Aubre for you. If she was being held up by a man with the gun, and he dropped it, she would pick it up. When he asked however, she would quickly hand it back to him. No need to make him angry; he might shoot her.
The girl tries her best to be a fly on the wall, to blend in, but the bounty system makes it hard. She needs money.
Aubre is absolutely terrified of fire Pokemon, strangers, dog Pokemon, males, and most Pokemorphs. When walking down the street, she will gladly take another street to avoid any of the things listed. If she sees fire she will instantly experience dreadful flashbacks, and dog Pokemon send her into panic attacks, which are accented by periods of paralysis, and periods of constant movement.
Wow what a shitty life, bowing and scraping to everyone. Aubre can make friends, and is sometimes downright adorable with her bashfulness, and her easiness to tease. The only thing is, she has a hard time trusting anyone. Try, and coax her out of her shell. You'll be amazed, though occasionally you might be "Rapist" instead of "Rupert".
The bowing, and scared, Aubre is somewhat of an act. While she is that paranoid her mind is usually filled with bitter, sarcastic, or bold thoughts. When angry, or faced with real danger, the old her begins to peek through. She becomes strong, and her stutter completely vanishes.
She has found that the bowing is often the best defense.
