David

History: David is an angel who's in disagreement with quite a few things. About a decade ago he fell in love with a man named Rem, thought he had fallen from grace, but then found out he hadn't. David lost Rem during a story arc where David had been overcome by a darkness and destroyed the world to save his love. When the world was remade and came back together, the angel found that no one had any memories of before and things were like he had never existed. Now, he mainly mopes about pondering the foundations of existence.
Appearance: David is about 5'9", pale skinned, and of roughly an average build. His hair is long and black. He has a long feathery grey wingspan which he normally keeps hidden as to not bother people. Eyes are a brilliant blue which borders on unnatural. He wears casual cloths to fit his mood.
Powers: David is an angel and guardian of this world. He has the ability to create portals to other places at will, though such power does have limits. He can speak any language, and communicate wordlessly when desired. He has uncanny balance, such as perching on the back of a kitchen chair with only his toes. Any other powers come and go depending on the story arch and how much is needed.
David is an angel of life & death, and war. The irony of which is that he has incrediable difficulty fitting in with humanity.
Abe

History: Also known as Absinoth, this outgoing figure commonly claims to be David's brother. He has a thing for the ladies, and followed David through many worlds during the Fank story arc. For a very long time he thought himself better above mankind, but has recently taken up a job delivering pizzas and living as one of them.
Appearance: Abe is about the same height and build as David, however he has shorter blond hair, green eyes, and tannish skin. Black tattoos streak from the edges of his temple down his neck, back, and beyond. They never look exactly the same any time to you look at the, and if you stare hard enough, they seem to move, offering the idea that one's mind is playing tricks. He tends to wear baggy untucked dress shirts and nicer jeans.
Powers: Abe can make portals the same as David, as well as speak all languages. His empathy is often far higher, however, though he deals with it better. Animals love him.
Abe is an angel of animals & plants. He fits in well (generally) with other people.

History: Shiva was brought into existence at the Beginning as Energy and Power. She was nothing but a subconscious for a few billion years before growing a physical form, which she used to swim through the cosmos. She happened upon the planet "Excultus" after a few more eons, and quickly became curious enough that she created a continent above its surface that she would use to examine the life on the planet. She fell through the sky after shrinking her colossal form and was stranded on the surface, unconscious for a year before awaking to a new humanoid body. She traveled the land for decades, learning what she was, and after rediscovering the continent that she created above the planet, she also learned of her new responsibilities as a Creator.
Ever since an incident that occurred more than two decades ago, Shiva has been fidgety, unstable, and very unpredictable. She suffers heavily from PTSD, has lost most of her morals regarding the protection of others, and is known for being suicidal. The only reason she is currently alive is because of her love for her daughter, who acts as an anchor for Shiva's emotional swings.

Appearance: Zeeke stands about 5'7". He has dyed red hair which is shaved on the sides, and very golden eyes.
History: Zeeke comes from a continent called Estrucia, which is ruled by a council and contains many other self governing province nations. It is a world where magic is held on a tight leash by strict laws, but has developed most of it's technology with magics aid. He doesn't speak English very well, with our modern English being a thing of his world's far past.

Caleb became the headmaster of an Academy meant to be a safe haven for youths like he was, who is hunted and seeked out by various powerful entities to either recruit or destroy. The Academy teaches individuals how to cope with their powers. But though good morals are upheld at the Academy, the path the students take are up to them...

He loves bringing more powerful creatures to their knees. His arch rival is Peng.

History: Massively anthropophobic, Max shies away from people he doesn't know. Once he relaxes, however, he's naiive to social norms and expectations, and instead relies on morals. He's shy and bleak about most subjects, but he brightens up at the sight of small critters, especially bunnies, being praised, and gushing about building structures. When he's alone, he's visited by Mischief and Mimic, his 'imaginary friends.' His father murdered his mother and then hung himself when Max was a child, and since has lived an orphan with his two older siblings, constantly running away from authority in fear that the three of them would be separated. He alludes at times to other people he knows, because he knows very few, they're what he relies on to know what to do in certain situations.

History: Killed by an angry mob of people, Peng goes on as a ghost that cannot move on unless his role is done. Convinced that the role is his last job, Jeremy Hughes, he cannot pass onto the afterlife until his duty is fulfilled. But could there be a different thing holding his soul to the mortal realm? His weapon is the Phantom blade; a blade passed down his bloodline with the ability to harm those that cannot otherwise be unharmed, and pierces or damages only the holder's target. Target can even be a soul or molecule, though it takes great mastery to accomplish. The holder can only be from Peng's bloodline, unless the blade will only slip through fingertips. Generally calm and calculating, he seethes with hatred over Ambre. He is cursed to follow orders no matter what they are, much as Yivrick is. Peng's bloodline, in fact, had once been servants to the Giesre family.

Appearance: Dakota is a 4' on the dot regal looking 8 year old boy with an ethereal appearance. There really isn't any substance to him, and it's only when he gets excited that he actually obtains an opaque quality. His short messy hair was once a vibrant strawberry blonde, but now resembles more the color of a dirty straw. Dakota's eyes are a deep crimson, closer to black, where in life they were brown. He is only ever seen in one outfit, one that suggests a royal background, and involves a cape and lots of lace.
History: When Dakota's father, the king of the realm, died of an unknown illness, it was his turn to take up the position of leadership, despite being too young to decide much of anything important. While he grew up it was his mother's responsibility to lead the realm. The kingdom adored the boy king, and was thrown into madness when he too mysteriously died, leaving his mother the only suitable Ruler. It is said that the potent memory and adoration of the unfortunate boy will some day bring vengeance upon whoever it was to end his life, and from the grave he will protect the realm as he would have in life.

History: He and his wife had a divorce three years after his daughter was born. The custody battle was brutal, but after a while the mother proved to be unfit and Princeton was granted full custody. They travel a lot, so Princeton doesn't have to worry about his ex-wife trying to kidnap their daughter. Plus, he was given a restraining order against her when, in her desperation, she tried to knock him unconscious to steal away her daughter. Princeton loves his daughter; she is his whole life. His work is in Psychology and supernatural findings, devoting his life's work in understanding the creatures he believes are manifested through the collected thoughts of human beings. (i.e. Slenderman) and trying to find their purpose. At times when he delves too deeply in his studies, he sends his daughter to his brother to look after. His brother who studies the same topic, but through text and not so much through physical contact. His theory is vastly different from his brothers, but the two tend to have heated debates over them.

at the eyes and up along with his right cheek.Spiky white hair hangs out from under
his helmet down to his shoulders along with some stubble on his chin.

and his teeth are spiked. His outfit is a straight jacket with shoulder pads and
elbow pads, along with two crossed belts that have a pouch and shield hanging off of it. The pants are bandages going all the way down the legs with knee pads,
to finish of is a par of combat boots that go half way up the lower leg.
History: Two is an assassin/volt hunter, his favorite gun is a sniper.

The door shuts behind you and, turning to leave, you find bricks where your world had once been. Downstairs, friendly voices sound, so you go to investigate.
The door in the attic works much like the front door in the House of Mystery comic books.
Unlike the comics, however, leaving is far harder. You have come here for some mysterious
purpose that will be up to you to find out. Once you are able to leave, though, coming and
going is easy. The door is always open to those who need it, and who are needed.
On the flip side, some are able to come and go from the start, choosing to enter this strange new world on their own accord, the door back still being there so that they may always return.
And on yet another side, some come to the house from the regular world. Friends met at a coffee shop, reporters snooping too close, pizza boys, etc.
This world is an alternate Earth, one of many reformed nearly 10 years ago out of an act
of pure love, sadness, and rage. Some things are different while others remain the same.
