Stella was born of both angelic and demonic descent, which makes her a Nephilim.
She grew up with her mother, who was once heaven's greatest clerics, after her father left them to claim his rightful place on the throne of hell.
Years passed and eventually her mother grew weak and needed medication to continue living. Feeling as though it was her duty to help her mother, Stella decided to become a bounty hunter and try to earn as much money as she could to help her ailing mother. She wasn't a very effective huntress, however, as she was easily swayed by her emotions and her fears of those she hunted, which she can thank her mother for. This constant battle with her emotions and fears rubbed off on her efficiency and made her clumsy in the process.
One day while hunting, she saw a young boar getting ravaged by a pack of wolves. Upon seeing this, she snapped. Her demonic bloodlust was pulsing through her veins. She lunged straight for the wolves and brutally killed them. "This isn't right. Don't be like your father," she thought to herself during that act. She stepped back, wiped away the blood and swore that she would control her lust for blood so as to avoid turning into what her father had become.
