I agree with the others about the whole thread maintenance if you decide to host another art contest. These are long, and can drain you. Art request thread may work, but I feel like those take even longer sometimes. It's all up to you of course.

It's understandable. I think hosting another contest would end up being time consuming and stressful if you're not in the right place to do so. Art request thread would be easier to manage and you wouldn't need to be on everyday, but you'd have to wait for the artist to finish and manage the trades/commissions.
