first of all, i must say THANK YOU! to all of my participants. i really, really appreciate every single entry; this is truly a wonderful christmas present. i couldn't ask for more. :3

there weren't enough prizes to be given. i apologize to those of you who will recieve nothing or little more than my gratitude.. some of the entrants may be used to recieving more gold for commissions, so i really hope no one is angry. i did add a few prizes (honorable mentions will recieve march letters), and will probably be churning out a bit of gift art in the weeks to come.

i based my judging on what i loved most and what art best represented my characters. everyone drew my characters better than me, but that's what's great about these contests. X3 i love it.

  this is open to everyone, no matter what medium or caliber of talent. real media, digital media, full body, chibi, sketches, pixels, dolls, paintings, crayon, colored pencil, oc, ps.. as long as you put some sort of effort into it, you can enter. just keep in mind that the more effort and creativity you pour into your works, the better chance you gots at the prizes.

  my having an art contest is for two reasons. one is because i wants more art of my original characters; my last contest was for avatar arts, and so i have enough of that. another is because i've lost most interest in gaia and so i'm on very little.. so i might as well hold a contest wif big prizes -- that way, i get arts, like i want, and you get expensive items, like you want. everyone wins!

believe it or not, the rules are here for a reason. they're not all that difficult to understand, they're easy to follow, and there's only a few.. so please do your best to read and abide by them all. otherwise, there's a good chance you won't go anywhere in the contest. thank you!

1. check the drama at the door
   the first and most important rule: no drama or angst. if you don't win, i'm sorry, but please don't take it out on anyone; if you don't like (or are jealous of) another person's entry, don't bash them. also, be patient with me. i'm a busy person, but will try to keep the contest as organized as possible.
   
   
2. keep arts r and under
   as you may very well know, gaia has a pg-13 thing.. so even if violence and nudity are fine with me, keep it under the level of massacre or porn. meaning, non-gory violence and artistic nudity are welcome. that is all.
   
3. 40 submissions required
   not really a rule, but more like a criteria; at least 40 submissions must be entered in the contest in order to proceed with judging. if there are not, it will be postponed until the bar is met.
   
   
4. read everything before entering
   this should be a given, common sense sort of thing. i did not take the time to write everything for no reason; before entering the contest, take the time to carefully read the rules, post on how to enter (pw: animal books), and so forth. you don't really need to read about every category, but if you plan on entering any, i advise you do. thanks.

</center>my second oldest character, getting yanagi arts is second only to arts of a and daelyn. she's the happy-go-lucky one of the bunch, so those of you who like happy stuffs, this one is for you.

tragedy is what you would call 'mild mannered', the girl next door, or someone's dream girlfriend -- quiet, nice, and very honest. when she's around her friends or william, she may be a little more rowdy or get into mischief, but for the most part, she's an easy-going person. very optimistic with an extremely positive attitude; has a slight problem with her confidence, self-esteem, and self-dislike when she's on her own. generally keeps her bitching to herself save the times william urges her to talk to him.
