OH! A roleplay thread? (Open)

I'm just going to start off with a setting and anyone who shows up can decide where in this setting they are and what they are doing.

On the outskirts of a medium sized city there is a large stretch of uncharted wooded area. You have found yourself at a river that runs threw it about a mile from the main road that divides the woods into two sections.
The woods are rumored to posses magical qualities, though, at this point it's just a story that the people of the city like to tell.

I am never really good at finding new ideas , but here is one :

A Criminal Christmas
All the RPers one day received a strange letter from Santa Claus , telling that they were invited to spend Christmas in his home . After he picks them up in his super-steam-powered -sleigh emotion_awesome , everybody is lead in Santa ' s warm and welcoming home. His wife is baking cookies , the elves are happily working and the reindeers sleeping soundly.
But on the night of the 23rd , you suddenly hear a blood-chilling cry . As you run out in the drawing-room , you see Santa ' s corpse on the crimson carpet , strangled to death with his own beard .
Who could have killed Santa ?Is it his wife ? Or his Elf secretary ?Or even one of the guests ? But more important than that , who will take up Santa ' s work to deliver the gifts ? Will everybody be able to cooperate together to save this important holiday ?

Do you roleplay often?

Occasionally. Mostly I just go with the current event theme, since most people know the premise, so it's easy to jump into.
