Right. Riiiiiight. There are some people who make a big deal about it, but on a whole, it's not that much of a big deal. Really. It's just something that makes it easy for you to have an almost guaranteed day of--depending on your viewpoint--either self-loathing, or pampering.
But, both holidays are just a day. Really. Valentine's Day generally has a more wide-spread celebration across the day, whereas Christmas is only celebrated in the morning and the night before, really.

I use my withered up flowers for spells.
