and have collected my thought after watching clannad i realize that i found nagisa really ******** annoying and uninteresting until she died LOL then she became the reason for my tears
maybe it's just me but i didnt give one s**t about her before that,

The sadness of her death is independent of her character. The sadness stems from empathizing with Tomoya. It's sad because of how it affects him rather than the death directly affecting you.
