What is this ship thing everyone keeps talking about. Is it a made up thing? Im so confused..

A fan of a television series who focuses on the pairing of two individuals. <--- internet defination^^
basically its a matter of opinion. for example say u think that toph and sokka would be so cute together and u really wish that they would date. so you would "ship" them. Your "ship" would then be called "tokka" if that were the case.
this can be with any tv show not just TLA or LoK. it could be pokemon, x-files, ect.

How could she not be? lol if i was her i would be jellous. the bf i thought i was in love with and thought he loved me actually was in love with the avatar the whole time.... i would feel a little used if i was her... but i think her and General Iroh would be awesome together XD lol S.S.Irohsmia smile

Well, yeah. xD I'd probably be jealous of the Avatar too. xD You could get anyone you wanted. haha I don't think Asami was being used though, I think Mako really did like her.

I SORT OF ship Iroh and Korra. I do and I don't, if that makes sense. I don't like to focus on ships though.

ya i think your right. and i get ya with the korra and iroh ship^^ i always thought mako would end up with korra from the beginning. so i kinda was mad when asami came cuz i thought it was gonna go into a complete different direction^^ im SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for the next season!!!!!!! i hope we get more flash backs from the GAang!!!!!! biggrin

YES THERE IS biggrin Its for sure that there wil be a second season in april 2013!! i hear there is a third season too but idk how much of that part is true. fingers crossed for that tho! smile

But everything seemed so final in the last episode.... I mean I know there were things left unresolved but what else could they add? Korra stopped the non-bender revolution and she mastered all the elements and then her and mako got together.... Idk I just don't see much material to work with there. And don't get me wrong I totally want them to add more to the series cuz it is amazing!

xD well the next book is called spirits. And they are gonna make conflict with that apperently. But who know amon could come back too but i dont think thats the direction they are gonna go with smile

Personally, all of the 'shipping' has ruined any potential that the show had. Not saying that it did not happen in TLA, which it did. But it happened over three seasons in which things could more maturely develop. This show has had only 12 episodes... so any romance implemented felt too intrusive at best.
