I think it might be best not to reply in such heavily-active threads. Not unless they're going at ten pages a minute. Might be best to go for dead or dying threads, waiting a bit, then getting healed before going off to do some damage or healing.

LOL. Some of them get really fast replies though so it's probably good strategy for some?
