The movie takes place after she was she went to Wonderland. but, yet people should read the books to get a better feel for what the whole things about. I for one love the books very much. and the movie was pretty awesome too biggrin

I read through the first one, but only half - way with "Through he Looking Glass"

I was so mad when I heard it had some plot against good and evil.

The books never had any 'exact' sense or idea of a story, she's randomly wandering, lightly thinking about the even that just happened then go wander again.

I think they stretched the story too much to make an 'epic adventure.'

I have read the first book and love it. I am reading the second at the moment.

Most topics are about the movie because it's most
current. I've read both AIW and TtLG, and can count
on one hand the number of people I know who've
also read them. Many kids just don't read much nowadays
unless it's those ruddy Twilight books, it seems.
