I stood there, teeth gritted and our weapons locked, as I listened to her words. “How could you ever do that?” I asked spitefully, disbelievingly.
“This planet has life in it. Precious life, like yours was to her. I learned this by being here, and watching and playing with them. You, above any other Gem, could appreciate and understand that if you could be given the chance to do so. I didn't do this out of hatred or freedom; I did it to protect the place I love. Just as you are fighting to the sake of the one you love!”
