Apothic Put it In the Oven

Description: Dad's Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Three sticks of butter
Yellow Cake Mix
Canned Pineapple (crushed & tidbits)
Brown Sugar
3 eggs

Drain the pineapple.
Caramelize the pineapple with the brown sugar & butter in a large cast iron skillet
Substitute pineapple juice for milk in the yellow cake mix.
(Combine using directions on the box)
Pour cake batter over pineapple

Bake at 375 F for about 45 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.
