About

It happened right in front of me. The howling, everywhere, like wind across the mouth of a cavern. The horses rearing, screaming, blood and flesh and bone flying, the grass covered in gore.

Father put a lead ball between its eyes moments before it ate him.

Mother stood in front of me and Antoni, and it ate her, too.

Antoni ran. I couldn't stop him. It chased him down and tore his throat out and trampled his body into the ground.

Then it came for me, howling and slavering, all fangs and claws.

I am still here.
