Ever since you walked out that door
Demon
There once was a powerful demon so great
That he was feared by both man and beast
His power rumored to be from what he ate
It was said he'd make a human his feast
It was easy to see what was so scary
He was so fast, so strong, and so clever
So even with a good plan they were wary
They planned to lock him away forever
They discovered he was weaker in the day
He had been traveling through the night
And stopped at a barn to rest in the hay
They surrounded him and took his sight
After he was blind he was easy to take
In the near by church he was placed
And into his heart they drove a stake
Never ending torture is what he faced
By those were but rumors and total lies
The demon would only drink but did not kill
And that truth was easy to read in his eyes
And he would never let any good blood spill
The demon may drink from the human flesh
But he was no killer, he was just really lonely
And drink the blood only just to barely refresh
Because the demon was the last one and only
The truth of his loneliness can only be felt
By having no one at all to love or impress
This loneliness could make any heart melt
And could easily make anyone badly stress
Now that his deep pain as been revealed
It is easy to understand all his pain
And why to a tomb he was to be sealed
Where forever more shall remain
