Your Irish Twin Brother

So I've been on another months long hiatus from Vocaloid. (Damn you, songs from anime this year, for being so good that I constantly replay you) Finally decided to take the leap and get back in, starting today. I have a list of new vocaloids up, and I'm going through their songs one by one. I'll try to remember to link you to any amazing ones.

I've also discovered that English Miku still isn't out after all this time. Supposedly, her voicebank should be out around August, but I haven't seen anything that directly confirms or denies that, so we'll see.

I could see this happening. Too bad it won't. It'd be the most hilarious scene in the entire anime.

It's possible. After all, Juha did say that he wanted to "Bring Ichigo back for reeducation" just before Ichigo's Quincy powers suddenly awakened. For all we know, Juha has been watching over Ichigo more closely than Aizen has.

That should have been true. It would have made the anime like twice as disturbing, easily.

Yeah. Though I think the Zangetsu that should up when he was training to fight Aizen might have been the real Shinagami half of his powers, which is why Hichigo could fuse with him.

Yeah. Only nine so far. But there will be 24, unless this becomes so insanely popular that they immediately make a second season that starts when season one ends. (I wouldn't be surprised at this point, either.)

I only knew that Eren could turn into a titan around the time episode 3 aired, so I was expecting to happen much later in the series. And then, suddenly, he got eaten. Completely caught me by surprise.

After this week's chapter of Bleach, I'm pretty sure most people want Ichigo to never get Zangetsu back.

Yeah, you have it more or less right.

100 years before the first episode, humans were suddenly attacked by giants that came out of nowhere. On the brink of extinction, humanity built three massive circular walls that were significantly taller than the tallest giants. Humanity has lived in peace for 100 years, until one day, a super giant (The Colossal Titan) who is taller than the outer wall, instantly appears out of nowhere and lets the other normal sized titans in. As you can probably imagine, s**t gets wrecked fast.

Well, you just saw the main character transform. Besides him, I've only spoiled the story enough to know three or four other characters who eventually reveal that they can turn into titans too. I'm pretty sure all of them besides the main character are evil, too. So no, practically everyone is a normal human. Though I suppose that joke does make a lot of sense when you consider that half of the main cast of characters get killed off during the first five episodes.

Anyway, it's easily the best anime of the season. Practically non filler Bleach anime level quality... If Bleach was 50 times more violent than it is, of course. One of the most brutal and disturbing animes I've seen, too. But in a good way, I guess.

Oh, and it has a kickass opening, too.

I watched that anime you linked me. It was... Odd. And funny. But mostly odd.

At the very least, Ichigo is losing powers to gain them for once. And his being a Quincy ended up having a good explanation. Still too many powers regardless. And of course they just had to make Uryu a bad guy.

Yeah, it took quite a while, but it's nice to focus on Baam again.

Yeah. I've been keeping up with Bleach and Tower of God whenever a new chapter comes out. Bleach is finally getting extremely interesting again, and Tower of God is... Well, Tower of God.

I'm tempted to watch that anime now. It looks crazy. And that clip you sent me answers a question I've had for a while now. I keep seeing GIFs of that girl getting smashed into the wall and could never figure out what anime it was from.

Congrats on graduating. So, how long of a break do you have before you start college classes/whatever, assuming you're going to?

That would probably explain why the weapons Spirits use are called Angels. I don't really know angel names off the top of my head like I do demon names, so I didn't get the reference.

Totally meant to link you to the scene in the forest at the end of the episode, but that works too.

Let's see if I can summarize this very well.

100 (If I remember correctly) years before Date A Live officially starts, a huge burst of energy destroys most of Europe, instantly killing 150 Million people. Other bursts of energy like this happened throughout the world. Scientists dubbed these bursts of energy "Spacequakes." Shortly after the spacequakes ravaged the Earth, they stopped happening entirely.

100 year later, much smaller spacequakes have begun to happen once again, and humans have built special evacuation shelters to prepare for them. The main character, Shidou, makes a promise with his younger sister (he was adopted into her family) to meet her at a local family restaurant after school, no matter what happens. When a spacequake warning goes off, he thinks she might be at the restaurant, goes to find her, and gets caught in a spacequake. He wakes up to see the girl in the knight outfit (who clearly has superpowers) fighting the girls in the mech suits. He ends up getting rescued by his younger sister, who is the leader of a secret organization that is attempting to stop the source of the spacequakes.

That girl who appeared is a spirit, a mysterious being who just appears out of nowhere. When they appear on Earth, their power unintentionally causes a spacequake and instantly destroys everything within a certain distance around them. The girls that were fighting the spirit are a military group that works for the government who kill spirits to stop them from causing spacequakes. Shidou's sister believes that the spirits haven't done anything that they deserve to be killed for. It's not like they purposely cause spacequakes. Shidou is a special human who can save the spirits. If he can make them fall in love with him, their powers can be sealed and they can become normal girls.

Thus the name "Date A Live." Shidou must convince the spirits to go on a date with him and make them fall in love with him so he can save their lives.

The anime is much much better than it sounds. Easily one of the top three animes this season. Especially with the ******** up new spirit who kills and eats people because she can.

I was wondering when someone would comment on how odd my status was.

The girl with the yellow clock eye was introduced in this week's episode of this anime. She's been killed before the anime starts, and then killed near the end of the episode. She comes back to live completely unharmed every time she's killed, so she's immortal. She's a serial killer who has killed over 10,000 people just because she can. She has necromancer based powers, and the time control powers are implied by her clock eye. She also ate three guys that were hitting on her, off screen. All that's left of them was pools of blood, so she ate their bones too. She's obviously a demon or vampire of some kind.
