On the other hand, it kinda sounds like a typical zombie apocalypse story with vampires thrown in... Just seems like it needs something to spice it up.

Well, the intent of my suggestion was to have zombies be playable. Maybe 'fresher' zombies, all with a condition that their brains deteriorate over time and they give in to their zombie instincts.

But that hardly makes sense, now does it? :3

Supposedly, there is an actually group of artists and animators trying to get a full team together. If they do make an anime though, either it will be one or two episodes, or only act one, I'd assume.

Having one of my favorite characters killed got me thinking. Sure, the Quincies could probably just show their power by killing the Captain Commander as soon as possible. But think about it. Kenpachi and Byakuya are two of the most popular characters in the series. And we can pretty much guess that as powerful as Kenpachi clearly is (for being the only one to not only win a battle, but being the only one to win at least three.), he's screwed fighting the Emperor himself, as well as the person most likely to be his second in command.

And what better way could there be, to drive the point home to the fans that the Quincies are not opponents the Shinagami can handle, than killing off the two most popular characters?

Yeah. Marble Hornets is pretty much a stand alone series. Though you could also consider it the origin of the other series as well. Because several things, like the Operator Symbol, and the video/audio distortion all appear in the various other series.

A good number of things to cross over between most other series though. So you could consider Marble Hornets something like Universe A, while EverymanHYBRID, TribesTwelve, and DarkHarvest00 are all in Universe B. In fact, if you believe in the one Slender Man theory (Rather than there being multiple Slender Men.), you could kind of say that DarkHarvest00 explains how Slender Man exists in the various Universe B series in the first place.

Marble Hornets was pretty much my first series too. But EverymanHYBRID and TribesTwelve are really good ones as well. And I recently started watching Darkharvest00. They are pretty much four of the so called "big five" of the Slenderverse,

If I were to rank them, it'd probably go something like this:

Easiest to follow: Marble Hornets
Scariest: EverymanHYBRID
Most disturbing: TribesTwelve
Most Brutal: Darkharvest00
Best pacing: Darkharvest00

Out of the four though, I'd say EverymanHYBRID is the best.

Good to know I know another Slendy fan. Probably one of my most favorite myths. Though I haven't really watched much more than the main four Slendy series. I've heard that there were five really good ones, though. So apparently I'm missing a series. No idea which one.
