Oh holy s**t! That's a super long relationship and I'm sorry to hear that happened. Upward character arc's always a positive thing to focus on though, can be easy to get bogged down by uncertainty when long relationships end. Glad that doesn't seem to be happening to you. What're your plans for the next couple of months?

It's been chill. Gonna be home alone soon for a couple weeks so preparing for that this weekend. Spring's turned out surprisingly busy. How's life been for you? whee

I'd say decently. It's up and down. People out here are way more shallow than the Midwest, but I also deal with less brazen incompetence. For the first few years, life out here was really hard. I think I finally have a feel for it now, there's some things I would change (like social prospects) but gotta work with what you have. What do you enjoy about your part of the Midwest? surprised

FREEZY. Well, not really, it's above freezing, I'm just a wimp for the cold. I used to live in the Midwest where it got to single digits, I've been spoiled since moving out West. whee
