Hello.
My name is Syaoran, and I am the adopted son of Fujitaka, who adopted me as soon as I was found in the desert Clow Country.
Through my father, I adapted to a love of archeology and all things like it, always reveling in the ancient artifacts in the worlds we pass nowadays.
When I was a young boy, I met the Princess to Clow Kingdom, Sakura-Hime. Due to the fact that she is royalty and I am… Well, me… I am not allowed to call Hime by her first name.
As we become friends, she openly tells me (over and over) to call her by her given name, Sakura. Only without others’ presence(s) am I allowed to call her this without punishment, though.
During one of the archeology journeys in order to uncover the ruins of Clow, my father died. He died with a smile on his face, having his last memory to be “the things he treasures most.”
I still keep a picture of my father back in our old home, back in Clow Country. I took over possession of our small house, and I make just enough money to pay for it through the digs.
Sometime after this occurred, Hime went down to the ruins to visit me while I was working (even though she shouldn’t have… I’ll bet Toya would’ve punished her. Or me.), and she walked into the ruins where I was excavating. It was deeper down in the ruins than the surface, but the end of the trek was a large, circular room which had a strange pattern on the ground, which I would soon know to be the Memory Wings of the Princess.
As if it were a bad story being played out, Sakura-Hime and I were separated after she soon became encloaked in a golden light, activating the pattern on the floor below us. As we were separated, her Memory Wings were spread out, probably in attempt to save her own life, and she started to meld into the wall, which had the same marking as the once-there floor.
Panicing, I attempted to pull Sakura-Hime away from the wall, ultimately ending up making her Memory Wings shatter, releasing dozens and dozens of Memory Feathers.
Soon after the quake, which had been created by the stirring of the pattern on the floor, ceased, I met up with High Preist Yukito and King Toya, Sakura-Hime’s older brother. Relaying the story to the High Preist, I was sent to see a “Time And Space Witch,” Yuuko, along with Sakura-Hime, who was unconscious in my arms.
Bargaining with the Space/Time Witch was not easy, and in the end I was forced to give her “the bond I share with Sakura.” This means that, even through all the memories she will obtain, she will not remember any of our past relationship. Knowing it was the only way to save her, I still obliged.
Two other people joined up with us along the way to search for Hime’s memories. A mysterious blue wizard, who is normally very optimistic, and a strong red ninja, who is normally pessimistic and prefers to be called by his normal name—they were named Fay and Kurogane, respectively.
In order for us to travel through worlds, a small rabbit-like creature named Mokona Modoki must act as our guide. Mokona is generally cheerful and happy, and claims to have 108 secret abilities. We have yet to see all of them, however…
