Just turned 23. And it's amazing, for my birthday I got 0. Nothing. It was surreal, but as beautiful as any surreal moment.

My mom did pressure me to decide on one "birthday dinner" which I looked forward to, but that fateful night she didn't talk to me. So I had it all planned out (I just wanted to visit a chinese place my dad showed me back home) and so the very meager dream is dead. A modest human is all that's left from that aftermath, so I'm pretty distraught and being 23 sucks. 21 means I'm fresh, 24 means I should be much more independent than I am. So I have 6 months to line it up and 12 to have everything flowing nicely, as I see it.

High five chika. Sorry you're from Utah. Holy christ, at least I know somebody I feel I like from a state that seems out of place. In all honesty though, I think Utah should be a pride of our nation for building a city out of values that were disdained by the WASPs. They should be fighting for states rights instead of giving up their values in compromise though, I'd be proud if they had legal polygamy instead of scams.
