Signature Abilities:
Shosen Jutsu(Mystical Palm Technique)-By concentrating chakra to the hand, the user is able to cure wounds by focusing their own chakra to where the critical injuries lie, healing them in the process. This jutsu, however, uses up a high amount of chakra. Very skilled Medical-Nins such as Tsunade can use the techniques to perform surgeries that otherwise would not be possible. This may also be utilized as the Chakra Enjintou and Chakra no Mesu, or the chakra scalpel for that matter - in order to sever the opponent's muscle fibers at the point of contact.
Nehan Shōja no Jutsu (Temple of Nirvana Technique)-This technique is an encantation spell that allows the caster to place a large body of people into an intense and unconscious state. The spell, however, can be avoided by forming the tiger hand seal and using the dispel skill, dispersing it away.
Shikon no Jutsu (Dead Soul Technique)-Shikon no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that uses a dead body to create the illusion of another living person. The ninja can either animate a normal dead person, or alter the appearance of the dead person to resemble another. To do the second version, the ninja first changes the appearance of the dead body to resemble the person to be portrayed. Then using this jutsu they make the heart beat again, allowing them to control the actions of the dead body.
In'yu Shōmetsu (Secret Healing Wound Destruction)- Kabuto can concentrate his chakra to a prepared area on his body and begin the cell recreation process the very moment the targeted area becomes damaged. This ability to activate dead cells and create new ones is the very reason why Orochimaru favored Kabuto's talents.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)- This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.
Meisai Gakure no Jutsu (Hiding Camouflage Technique)-This jutsu renders the user invisible to the naked eye. Abilities such as the Sharingan and the Byakugan, can see through it however.
Bio: Kabuto was raised by a Jōnin member of the Konoha Medical Unit Squad, who found him at the battle of Kikyō Pass when he was still a little boy. He was the only survivor of the battle and was found weak lying with the bodies of enemy all around him. He was later recruited as Orochimaru's right hand man, but the manga has hinted at an ulterior motive, casting some doubt on his purported loyalty. He does seem to be hiding something from Orochimaru, as he tried killing Sasuke while he was recovering from the Chūnin Exam preliminaries. He was stopped by Hatake Kakashi before he could slit Sasuke's breathing tube.
His main role was to keep an eye on other talented ninja, specifically Uchiha Sasuke, in order to support the next phase in Orochimaru's plan. He resided for some time in Konohagakure with Akadō Yoroi and Tsurugi Misumi in order to collect information. By intentionally failing the Chūnin exam seven times (over a four year period) he masked his true skill and downplayed his presence in the village.
