Um, you DO realize that not all immigrant females are women of colour, right? I'm mostly-white and pass quite nicely as white. Most of the immigrants to the US that I know are white. A lot of us come from Canada. I see the bigger picture--it's yet another way to impede people from immigrating to the US. You're the one not seeing the bigger picture. By the time my immigration process is complete, my fiancé will have spent literally THOUSANDS of dollars on getting me there. HPV vaccination is great. It's also expensive as ********. It may protect people. It's also the ONLY vaccination that I don't agree with, out of every available vaccination. I do not want that vaccination in my body. There is no reason for it. My fiancé and I BOTH test clear for HPV. I do not trust any vaccine that is this new. I am not going to get HPV just standing in the supermarket line up.



You're looking at a very narrow view, my dear--the view that you, personally, had to have it due to a medical condition. You're not looking at how this affects families divided by borders. You're not looking at it from the fact that your average female wandering the streets of the US is NOT required to have this vaccine.



But then again, unless you're an immigrant, you've probably never even thought about the other side.
