Bleach... ummm... lemme explain
it's a manga/anime following a guy named Ichigo, who can see/sense spirits... long story short he gets the powers of a Soul Reaper ((or shinigami in the japanese, a death god)) and goes around killing "hollows" who try to kill people.
Hollows basically are evil zombies with crazy a** powers
Soul Reapers use their sword to kill hollows

You get the idea?
