Well thanks for the compliment, sir. I'll go for it some day!

And I'm a guy, haha. The pictures on the right side are of me. I just enjoy My Little Pony a good bit, ahaha.
And glad to hear you enjoy the song! They're one of my favorite bands. I know lots of good music so let me know whenever you need some new amazing music.

I'm doing great. Just relaxing, playing minecraft and checking gaia from time to time. And you?

Thanks! Glad you like it
I've tried writing a book multiple times but I always lose interest after the first few chapters
I wrote a lovecraftian-esque horror story not too long ago that I like a bit, but I wrote it on paper and I'm far too lazy to type it up, sadly.
Do you write at all?

Well here's a little something I wrote that was inspired by The Southern Oracle in my favorite book, The Neverending Story.
It's an oracle that is only a voice, with no sort of physical embodiment, and it speaks in song, and the great Nothing has come to claim, and subsequently destroy it.

The Fading of Winds

For all eternity, my voice hath rung
Through these halls, these songs I've sung
Wise beyond all, I've woven tales
and spoken truths of beyond the vale

and yet I feel that now my time has come
That I, soon, shall be undone
My voice will fade like all things do
As you will fade, one day too.

The wind shall sing no longer here
None will recall the singing seer
and so shall end my song, unbirthed
but you, my child, shall prove your worth.

Go now, tell them what I've foretold
That my voice has grown, it seems, too old
This ancient melody shall cease this time
and with me, so too dies my rhyme

Farewell my friend, goodbye, so long
and Never forget, the Oracle's song

Yes I do, although I don't do it very often.I have a number of poems and songs written, but anything bigger than that I end up starting working on, then completely abandoning a week later.

Well yes of course there are things in life that are unfortunate, but in every single one of these situations, not once will mourning be a solution. The only solution is to move on. When one is driving down the road, the cars one has already passed can't touch them. You're already ahead of them. But when you hit your brakes, slow down, and stare into your rear view mirror, that allows the cars behind you to catch up and hit you. One must keep one's eyes on the road and foot on the gas pedal, if you'll excuse the odd analogy.

And thank you, I've been told I'm rather good with putting words together to convey thoughts.

It's refreshing to see someone who truly understands and appreciates life as it was meant to be partaken of, I must say.
Wasting precious moments of your life being sad, stressed, or angry only disgraces the fact that you were given a life in the first place. One can always be happy, and one always should. There's never a reason not to be, no?

I apologize for the excessively late reply, but yes. I very much so consider myself happy; often times with no actual reason to be. I just see no reason not to.

I personally believe that the one and only thing that truly matters in life is your happiness. I could not care less about how much money I have, where I'm living, etc. if I am at least happy and content with where I am. And frankly I see no reason to ever be anything but totally happy. One should not let life drag one down with it's petty and meaningless fluctuations and changes. If one is happy, then all is well, no?

Well yes I do agree that if following and acting like someone makes you happy, then yes you should do so, but many people don't do it to make them happy. To do it to make others happy and to fit in, if you will. If following and acting like another person makes one happy, then all the more power to them; so long as that is the reasoning with which they are doing it. If they are doing it to make others' happy, not themselves, then they should not. What I mean is not necessarily that one should ignore everyone when making decisions about their life; but that one should not pay attention to the ridicule and criticism that may come along with said decision. No one matters unless you make them matter, so if someone dislikes you, simply ignore them. The only power one has over you is the power you grant them.

And ah, alright. I remember that thread now. Was only curious, and now am sated.

Well I personally disagree a bit with the statement that everyone should aim to be different. I think rather than that, everyone should aim to be themselves. Rather than looking at society and trying to be like society, or looking at society and trying to be different, I believe should ignore society, ignore the norms, and just be what they wish to be with no outside influence. Don't aim to be anything, just be; if you will.

And out of pure curiosity, as I am interested, what gave you the want to comment my profile in the first place? As it was somewhat out of the blue; only wondering.

When asked to describe myself, as cliché as it may be, I often simply say, "I am me." As I am a person who could simply not care less about what others think about me and who I am. I am who I am, entirely and completely and I live to meet none's standards but my own. If someone likes me, I am glad and happy; of course. But if they don't, they may go right ahead. More power to them. Not everyone will like everyone and I'm no exception.

And it is a pleasure to meet you as well, sir. Sorry about the rambling, if you will. It's just such a rarity for me to know of someone who shares my "Live for thineself" views.

So I read that entire about me thing you've got on your profile and it was frightening
It was like reading a description of me and my thoughts; only coming from someone else.

Hello.
