About
Cleo did a little twirl as she brought the laden tray of coffee and burgers to the huddle of impatient businessmen at the corner of Gambino's Cafe. Side step, kick. Front, bow. She couldn't afford to mess up at the show that night. Another screwup, and it would be another long three months straight of wandering the streets at night. The bell jingled. New customer. Male, young, single, by the looks of it. Excellent.
She sashayed over with a practiced air. Smile, wink. One, two. "Can I interest you in any coffee today, darling?"

"It was great when it all began, I was a regular Frankie fan..." Cleo was in her element, all pouty lipstick and worn fishnets. Mentally, she smirked at the ignorance of the appreciative, ogling audience before her. Honestly. She really would never have taken this ridiculous job up were it not for the minimal tips and free midnight meal at Denny's after everything was said and done. But no matter. The show had to go on.

Cleo turned the doorknob to the flat slowly, for fear of waking up any of her flatmates. 3:16 AM. Fair enough, there were still six hours until work tomorrow. Enough time to study. She smiled, and yawned.
