ah yeah, I got to read some of those sometimes, I don't like it either so I usually stop reading when I find out it's a shotacon, some are really ... irgh!! I once read one between a father and his son, or adoptive son or something like that, I just found it gore in fact. some people are twisted...

I used to read a lot of HP fanfic on ff.net too, and some over other books I like (when it's ambiguous enough to think about an imaginary relationship XD) or when the ones told in the books kinda suck!

i only saw the anime, didn't read the manga, a friend of mine told me it was not as "soft" as the anime. The anime seems to be more shonen ai than yaoi...
