I think anyone can make it sound creepy if they try hard enough.

Would that make me smart, or stupid, to respond with:

"Yay! I'd love to be friends forever and ever!"

or does that just make it worse?

I guess that one thing kind of makes us alike. My mum left right after I was born, and my dad was never a good children's person, so he's been trying his hardest.

I'm sorry to hear about your father, though, and I wish that I could relate in another way...

Yeah... Most people say that, but you grow used to it. We're goofy at home, but he likes to promote that sort of behavior. You know, opening doors for woman, men being silent and calm. Most people just think you're mysterious, though people at school think I'm a freak. It doesn't matter, though. It's just what you're used to.

I think life would be more fun that way. At least you would learn something every time you go. My dad wants the two of us to go in suits, and be very respectable. We can't bother anyone. Or talk to anyone. -_-
