Well, I want to be a video game programmer, which I can already do, just not professionally. Public speaking isn't all that important for my profession. Now, some people don't know (meaning geeks like me) but there is a difference between a game programmer and game designer. The game designer will conceptualize the game, plan it, manage the tasks of the team, market and publish the games and publicly introduce it. Meaning, they hafta to talk about their game at E3 or something of the sort. That's why I'm doing programming: I can already do it for Flash, calculator, Dark Basic, and LUA, and I like writing and using computers and I don't hafta be very social. XD
So there's that. Do I like speaking in front of the class? No. Still, I promote some courage and feign modesty if the audience laughs at my jokes or takes me seriously because I have a tendency to use big words. (Polysyllabic words, to be more precise). You know how some people say to imagine people in their underwear? It works for me! So that's the advice I give you. It's a good thing you're not a guy because I'd hafta warn you about imagining the GIRLS in underwear. If you have an overactive imagination, you might cause yourself some embarrasment...like, from below. ROFL. But you don't have to worry about that. Anyways, try that the next time you speak in front of people.

It's about a game called "The Hunger Games" and it takes place in future North America and is called Panem. There's a romance and lots of brutal violence. There's also a sequel to it called "Catching Fire", which I'm gonna read soon. These games take place in order to show the poor people of Panem who won the war that took place before. It's very interesting actually. Lots of emotion takes place. It's a little different because a woman author wrote it and the main character is a girl and there's lots of violence. Typically, violence and girls don't mix, but there's so a love story too, so I guess that explains. You should read it if you can. When I'm done with sequel I'll read your book. smile

I read whatever catches my interest. I know that's overused, but it's true. I like reading lots of adventure books. Or anything that has an "epic" vibe from it, and also has lots of laughs. Because funny stuff is awesome.
