Hello! I go by Turk or Barry!
Please do not make Bee Movie jokes about the name Barry unless we're friends and I make them first thanks,,
I'm a jack of many trades. I like to draw and write (. I like a bunch of shows, books, and webcomics, which I'll list below if you're curious!! I used to be pretty into cosplay, but not so much anymore. Same with anime. But I still kinda consider myself to be associated w/ that part of the internet, I guess?? I'm a nerd, a weeb, uh, a garbage can, as I refer to myself a lot?? I can't tell if it's ironic or not. Ya know, that sort of deal.
Currently, I live in Arizona with some family and work. I dropped out of college in 2016 bc art school just wasn't my thing. See, I like drawing, I like looking at art, but going to school for it, realizing that I'd be basing my entire life off of it, and the idea of HAVING to draw versus WANTING to draw kinda turned me away. It was a, uh, $20k realization. But at least I dropped it before I raked up more loan debt, right? I might pursue an education again someday. I like history a LOT. Art History and Civil War History are my favorite subjects, and musical theater is a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm told I can sing pretty well. Maybe I'll produce the next Hamilton :' )
But for now, I spend my time alternating between my online duties, working, and spending days off with friends.
And laundry.
Because laundry takes 500 years to do in this gotdam house.
I LOVE my job, even though it's "not a career". I'm just a movie theater employee, but god if I don't love the environment. My co-workers are the most supportive team of people I ever met, employees, managers, and all. I think I'm really fortunate to be where I am. Even if I complain about being tired, or about the soccer mom who gave me $60 in change lmao.
Don't be surprised if I tend to disappear for days at a time! I'm most likely sleeping or working! And I'll be back to my regularly scheduled procrastinating within the week.
My true dream is to join Team Rocket AZ and cover the Earth in sick memes with my cubone sidekick.
Also, I love chicken nuggets.
