I have recently become enlightened to the sexist subtext that, while likely unknowingly, pervades the Twilight series and is, in fact, central to the story. This video, which compares the gender roles displayed in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twilight, is what opened my eyes.

About that, I was crazy over the Buffyverse world, specifically the Angel series for a year... and a half. XD Before that was the other things over my profile page.... NBC being the longest. We'd watch it every Halloween. :3
